Mitch glared at the asian on the couch.

He'd been watching the way Mark been looking at Scott, and it made him want to throw Mark through a wall.

Scott came over and sat down next to Mitch and wrapped an arm around him, kissing his temple.

"You okay?" He asked softly.

Mitch nodded and snuggled into Scott. He put his hand on Scott's stomach, only to pull it away quickly and leave Scott's embrace, then stand and walk out.

Scott sighed and cradled his stomach, looking at the ceiling.

"So, you're pregnant?" Mark asked.

Scott perked his head up, raising an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"

Mark gave him an apologetic look. "I-I wasn't trying to be rude. I'm just curious. I'm sorry."

Scott chuckled. "You're okay." He said. "Um, and to answer your question, yes. I'm pregnant. I don't know how it works, or how its possible, but it is."

Mark nodded as he looked at Scott's stomach. "How...how did you come to terms with it?"

"Uh, well. It took a minute. And, really, I think I just got more used to it."

Mark smiled. "That makes sense."

Scott nodded. "So um, can I ask...why were you running earlier?"

Mark paused before sighing. "I had run away from my ex. He and his friend were planning something on trying to catch a group of demigods or something."

Scott froze. "What was his name?"

"Uh, Todrick? He sometimes went by 'T'."

The demigod looked at the kid before him. "Can you excuse me...for a moment?" Scott asked. Then got up before he recieved an answer, and walked into the kitchen where Leigh was making tea.

"He knows Matt and them?" Scott asked.

Leigh looked at him with wide eyes.

"Why is he even still here?!"

"Because, Scott. Just because he knows them, doesn't mean he's with them."

"You don't find it a bit odd, him just showing up outta nowhere?"

"Believe me, Scott, I find it very odd, but we don't know the full story, therefore we can't just throw him out. Especially, if he has nowhere to go."

Scott sighed, at the same time Mitch walked in.

"If I catch him staring at your ass, one more fucking time, I swear to god, I will-."

"Will what?" Mark said, appearing. He'd seen everyone gathering, and he wanted to know what was up.

Mitch, not expecting Mark to show up less then 6 inches from him, screamed and flung him to the wall, trapping him there.

"I swear to god, Squint. If you scare me again, I will do so much worse. Never sneak up on me."

Mark nodded frantically as he looked at Mitch with wide eyes. The demigods eyes were a fiery orange.

Scott came forward and pulled Mitchs arm back, letting Mark free.

Mitch struggled and pushed Scott off of him, looked at Scott's stomach, then his face, and walked off.

Mark took deep breaths as he looked back to Scott. "What was that?"

Scott sighed. "You know those demigods you were looking for?" He asked slowly.

Mark nodded with a hesitant look.

"You found 'em."

Mitch yelled as he punched the wall.

Why was it so hard to be normal? He never asked for this! He just wanted to go back to who he was before. Before he was a demigod, before he was about to have a child with someones he's only known for six months.

Their entire relationship was built around the fact that they were having a kid.

He sighed as he dropped down on the bed he and Scott shared. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" He yelled.

Not long after, there was a soft knock on his door.

"Who is it, and what the fuck do you want?" Mitch snarked.

"Its Avi."

Mitch rolled his eyes and flipped backward on the bed. "Fine." He groaned.

Avi slowly entered the room, only to see Mitch spread out on his bed.

"The fuck do you want?" Mitch said.

"I'm just checking on you." Avi said.

Mitch chuckled. "Since when do you care?"

"Mitch, come on."

"You know, when I first found out Scott was pregnant, I wasn't this...scared." the boy admitted, looking at the ground. "I dont know what I'm suppost to do. I mean, for all I know, she's gonna grow up to hate me, because I was a shitty father."

Avi looked at him. "Mitch, she's not even here yet, why are you doubting yourself?"

Mitch looked at him. "When most people say they don't know what they're doing, they have those instincts to help back them up. I have nothing. My father wasn't around, and my mother beat senseless. I've never even held a child before."

Avi came forward and put his hands on Mitchs shoulders.

"Look at me." He said. "What you need to do right now is breathe. You're gonna send yourself into a panic and that's the last thing you need."

Mitch took a deep breath and nodded. "I'm okay." He said, taking another breath.

Avi nodded. "I know how you feel, Mitch." He gave a small smile.

Mitch looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "You do?"

"I do, yeah. Mitch, we all have those instincts when it comes to our kids. You're gonna be okay."

"But what if I'm not good at it? I don't even know how to change a diaper."

Avi chuckled. "I'll help you. If you need it, just ask."

Mitch looked at the ground. "I want to be a good parent. I want her to have what I I didn't."

"Then give it to her. Mitch you're nothing like your mom."

Mitch shook his head. "You don't know that. I mean, I almost killed Scott! I almost killed the person that I fucking love. I've never even cared about anybody as much as I do Scott. I've already hurt him once, who's to say that I won't hurt her, too?" Mitch finally let his tears fall down his face as he looked at his lap.

Avi knelt down and tilted Mitch's head up so he was looking at him.

"Trust yourself. That's all you need to do. And I'll be right there if you need me. You don't need to be afraid to ask."

Mitch looked at him with shiny eyes. "Really?" He asked, wiping his tear stained face.

Avi nodded. "Whenever you need me."

Mitchs face crumpled as he leaned into Avi's shoulder and cried.

"Thank you." He whimpered, wrapping his arms around Avi.

Avi smiled and held him tight. "I got you."
