"Okay." Kevin said. "Avi, get off the couch."
"Why?" Avi groaned.
"Because its almost noon, and you haven't moved."
"And why should I? Its not like were going anywhere right now."
Just as kevin was about to say something, Scott walked back in.
He was still sore between the legs, and walking didn't help, so he was holding himself with one hand, and running the other through his hair.
"Where are Mitch and Kirstie?" Kevin asked.
Scott nervously chuckled. "I might have made this worse." He gave an unsure smile.
"What do you mean?" Avi asked.
"Um, well, Mitch and I got into it." Scott sat on the couch next to Avi. "Please tell me we have ice."
"Why do you need ice?" Kevin looked lost.
"Mitch kicked me in the dick." Scott cringed.
"Oh." Kevin said and went into the kitchen.
Avi turned to Scott. "You seriously let him kick you? You're like a head taller than him and twice as broad."
"It wasn't like I knew he was gonna kick me. We got into a fight and I pissed him off."
"What was the fight about?" Kevin asked, walking back in with a bag of ice wrapped in a small towel.
Scott accepted with a smile and placed in on his groin with a cringe.
"He was complaining about how no one would talk to him and help him in the past, and about his relationship with his mother, and how now the only reason all of us are talking to him is because we have to. I snapped at him, telling him the he didn't need to take out all of his anger on us, which got me slapped, then I popped of with "and you wonder why you have so many problems" which got me nailed in the nuts, and then, when he walked of Kirstie said something and I was like "its not my fault he cant confront his own demons". He came back, grabbed me by my hair and yanked my head so I was looking at him and he told me that He's the last person I should piss off, and he dropped a fireball three feet from me." He took a breath. "It wasn't fun, I'll tell you that much."
"So basically," Avi started. "You got beat up by a short little twink boy?"
"Basically." Scott nodded once.
"God, you are so stupid." Kevin muttered, rubbing his face with one hand. "Do you not remember how hard it was to get him back the first time? Less than 24 hours ago? The last thing you should've done is argue with him. Why didn't you just use you charm talk or what ever it is you have?"
"Its charmspeak, and trust me, I would've if I could figure out how to use it." He laid his head on the back of the couch and exhaled. "I'm a fucking idiot."
Avi stood up. "Well, I say good riddance. Didn't like that kid anyway."
"You literally said it yourself, Avi." Kevin said. "We need him. Zeus said it himself."
Avi just shook his head, silently scolding himself. "Where's Kirstie?" He asked, changing the focus to someone he actually liked.
"She went to try and talk to Mitch." Scott answered, eyes closed.
"Fantastic." Avi rolled his eyes. "Any idea when she'll be back?"
Just then the door opened, revealing the two remaining demigods. "Hey guys!" Kirstie chirped.
Mitch just looked pissed off, and stood across the room with his arms crossed.
"Hi." Scott said shortly. His groin still hurt.
