"And you're the father."

Mitch laughed again. "This is a physical impossibility. Scott doesn't have the right reproductive system for that. Trust me, I would know."

Scott rolled his eyes and surged forward. "For fucks sake." He mumbled. He grabbed Mitch's hand and placed flat on his stomach.

Kirstie took this opportunity to so somewhere else.

Instantly, Mitch saw visions flying through his mind.

He saw a little girl with dark hair and fair skin running around on a warm summer day. She was wearing a black shirt, with pastel pink shorts. She was showing something to Scott and Mitch was watching with a huge smile on his face

Then another of the same little girl on Scott's hip as he and Scott were walking hand in hand. It wasn't hot, it wasn't cold. The little girl was reaching up to grab leaves on the trees and when she got them, she would hand them to both Mitch and Scott.

Then a third one popped up where this little girl was running up and wrapping her arms around his legs, asking to be picked up, and when she was, she wrapped her little arms around his neck.

"I love you, daddy." She said to him.

"I love you, too, sweetie." He said.

She pulled back and looked him in the eyes. Hers were mostly bright blue, with a patch of dark brown in her left eye. She was a perfect combination of both Scott and Mitch.

Mitch gasped and tore his hand away and looked at Scott with tears in his eyes.

"What was that?" He growled.

"Mitch..." Scott said, taking a small step forward.

Mitch quickly stepped back and put a hand out to stop Scott from coming any closer.

"What was that?" He repeated, shaking so hard the zipper of his jacket was rattling.

"Our daughter." Scott said softly.

Mitch aggressively shook his head and laughed at the tears fell. "No. No no no no no no. This isn't something that happens. You're a guy!" He wiped his face as he continued to laugh. The alternative would be bawling his eyes out. So laughing seemed to be the better option.

"This is impossible." Mitch continued.

"Clearly, Its not. Mitch, what did you see?"

"What did I see?! I saw a little girl, that had dark hair like me and pale skin like you, with blue and brown eyes, running around with us and playing with us and saying "I love you, daddy" to me when I pick her up to hug her!" He broke into tears at that last part.

"That was our daughter, Mitch." Scott said.

Mitch looked down at Scott's stomach and slowly placed his hand back where it was.

He saw the little girl again. This time she was in a black dress that had pink red and white swirls and designs on it and she was walking on a long carpet, throwing flower petals on the ground. Mitch looked up and saw Scott, in a red tuxedo, standing at the end of that carpet, smiling, with tears streaming down his face. He looked so happy.

Mitch pulled his hand back and kept his head low.

He turned around and started to walk off, before remembering he should probably say something. "I'm..." He croaked out. "I'll be back...later." He said. He gave scotts stomach one last look before he walked off.

What was happening? What were those visions? The first three were crazy enough, then he saw what looked like a wedding. His wedding. To Scott.

No, that couldn't be right.

He shook his head and cleared his mind. He looked up and saw that it was almost nighttime. Dusk, really.

He felt a tickle in his chest and looked around.

He decided to knock over the lamp post. He found himself enjoying watching people screaming and running. Granted it was only a few, it was still amusing

Kirstie felt horrible. "Scott I'm so sorry." She said through her tears.

Scott sniffled and came over to her and pulled her in for a hug. "Its okay." He said, giving her a kiss on the head. "We'll figure it out. Don't worry."

He knew he wasn't hiding how he felt very well. He didn't know how to process Mitch's reaction. He didn't seem upset. He definitely wasn't happy, but he wasn't upset. He probably just didn't know how to process what he just found out.

Scott knew what those visions were. At least the first three. Those are the ones that his mom showed him. He had no idea what the last on was.

"Genuinely asking." Avi said. "Should one of us go after him."

"I think you should." Kevin said.

"I didn't mean me..."

"Well, currently we have two hot heads. Maybe you'll beat him and bring him back." Kevin suggested. He really just wanted to get Avi away from Scott, who looked like he was about to cry. He didn't want something happening.

Avi rolled his eyes. He went back inside to grab his jacket and phone and walked off after Mitch. He didn't really see Mitch until he got to the side walk and saw a little black figure  up in the distance.

So he ran. He ran and caught up to Mitch fairly quickly.

Kevin looked at Scott and Kirstie. Scott wasn't crying yet, but his eyes were red like he was about to. Kirstie was sobbing.

Kevin knew she felt terrible for what she said, but, if you think about it, he would've found out eventually. He either would've been told, or he would've noticed the changes in scotts body and asked.

He just hoped Avi could get Mitch back there without any complications.
