Mitch glared at the cat in Scott's arms. He could just see the smirk on its furry face.

"Gimme the cat." He demanded Scott.

"There is a nicer way to say that, I'll have you know." Scott sassed.

Mitchs jaw dropped. "Excuse me? I just got done dying. It's not like I was impaled by a fucking dagger or anything. Give me the goddamn cat!"

"I'm not giving you anything if your gonna speak to me like that."

"I'll talk however I damn well please." Mitch glared. "That is not a normal cat. That is Mark. It has his eyes. The same eyes that checked you out every chance he got. And now the fucker is in your arms!"

"Jealous much?"

"Give me the cat." Mitch pressed. Then he rolled his eyes. "I'm not gonna hurt him, I just dont want him close to you."

"Its just a cat."

"No." The Son of Hades growled. "It is not just a cat. It's a person who's been turning into a cat. A person who's wanted your dick since he saw you."

Scott just chuckled. And handed the orange and white cat to his boyfriend. "Fine. Take the cat, if it means that much to you."

"Oh, he doesn't mean anything to me." Mitch said once he had the cat. "I just don't want him near you."

"You know a cat can't do anything, right?"

"You know I don't care, right?"

"Will the two of you please shut the fuck up?!" Avi yelled. He was only a few feet in front of the couple and he was so done hearing them argue.

"Fuck you, Curly." The two said in unison, and went back to bickering.

Avi sighed and ran to catch up to Kirstie. "Hi, Sweetness." He said to her as he wrapped his arms around her from behind. He stopped her and went in front of her kneeling to kiss her belly. "Hi, baby girl." He said in between kisses.

"I've come up with a couple names." Kirstie said bashfully. "If you want to hear them, that is."

Avi grabbed her hand and kissed it as the continued to walk. "Of course I wanna hear them. This is our child were talking about." He smiled.

Kirstie returned that smile. "Since we know it's a girl, I was thinking Arryanna, or maybe Lynn."

"Huh." Avi nodded.

"What?"

"Nothing, just...what if you combined the two? Arryanna-Lynn?"

"I never thought of that." She chuckled. "Youd think I'd be able to but." She clicked her tongue. "Guess not. Did you know a mothers brain actually shrinks during pregnancy? I can't tell you the reason why because I never made it that far, but it does happen. Which is why pregnant people tend to be a bit more forgetful." She looked at Scott, who was still bickering with Mitch. "Though, Scotty seems to just be like that naturally."

"Yeah, he's not the brightest, and actually, yes, I did know that. I did read a baby book." Avi chuckled. "I'm not the dumb jock everyone thinks I am."

"I don't think your a dumb jock." She pointed out.

"You know me better."

Kirstie snorted. "I'd say." She said as she put a hand to her belly. "So, Arryanna-Lynn. What about a middle name?"

"Something to do with water. I don't care what else, just as long as it has to do with water."

"Mariah?"

"What about that has to do with water?"

"I don't know, I just think it's cute. You obviously don't." She pointed to him.

"That's not what I said!" He defended. "I do think its cute, I just don't think it fits."

"Hmm. What you want some thing like a marine animal or some shit?" She looked him in the eyes and they seemed to light up the moment she got her idea. "Marina?"

Avi pondered it. "Arryanna-Lynn Marina  Maldonado." He smiled and nodded. "That's it."

Kirstie smiled. "Are you sure? Dont you need like a heir, or something? Yknow, with you being a somewhat powerful demigod and all?"

"Somewhat powerful?" He repeated, slightly offended. "I may not be able to create a wall of fire or a tower of water, or generate a forcefield, but I'm  faster than a cheetah, and stronger than a bull, and I can control nature, so try me."

"I will win. Everytime." She smiled.

Avi kissed her hand again before returning the smile. "Only if I let you, but knowing you, I won't need to."

"Damn right." She smirked. Then she stopped when she felt a kick. "Avi."

"What? Are you okay?"

She smiled and nodded as she put a hand to her stomach. "She kicked."

Avis eyes lit up the moment she said that. He gently placed his hands on her stomach. Nothing happened for a few seconds, and just before he was about to remove his hands he felt a tiny little nudge against his palm.

Hot tears burned behind his eyes as he stiffled a sob of happiness. "She's really there."

"She is." Kirstie smiled, her throat closing slightly. "That's our baby."

Avi let out a sob as he bent his leaned down and kissed her belly again. "I love you, Arryanna."

Kirstie giggled as the baby squirmed a little. "Say that again." She instructed her boyfriend. She smiled when he repeated his phrase and the baby moved again. "I think she can understand you. She moves everytime you say her name."

Avi smiled even wider and stood up. "I love you."

Kirstie blushed and wrapped her arms around his shoulder. "I love you too."

They kissed and continued walking.

"Can I hold the cat?" Avi asked Mitch.

"No. Fuck you." Mitch spat.

Avi sighed. "If you hate the cat so much, why are you holding him?"

"So I can keep him away from Scott."

"Jealous much?" Avi snorted.

Mitch quickly turned around and glared at the demigod, his eyes flaring orange.

Scott just snorted. "I said the same thing. He really is."

"I never said I wasn't. I just didn't like the way he looked at your ass, shamelessly, everytime you walked by. Not to mention how he would check you out with me right there beside you!" With a huff, he turned on his heel and walked off, mumbling something under his breath.

"He really doesn't like that cat." Kirstie said.

"It would seem as such." Avi added and liiked at Scott.

"I think his attitude may have something to do with him getting stabbed a little bit ago."

"Ya think?" Kirstie raised her eyebrow.

Scott snorted and turned to follow Mitch, leaving Kirstie and Avi yo walk together, just the two of them.
