Avi was still fuming as he walked downstairs.
It didnt help when he heard footsteps following behind him.
"I said my piece. Go away." Avi muttered as he walked.
"Babe." He heard. The tone made him stop in his tracks and turn. When he did, he saw Kirstie who was holding Arryanna.
"Hi. Sorry. Uh, what's up?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck.
"I heard you yelling. Then I saw the way you came dow the stairs and I figured something was said to tick you off that much."
He sighed and nodded his head in the direction of the back door and took the baby fir Kirsties arms as they walked.
"I don't get what Scott's deal is. I mean, he won't even go near his child, but he's getting all feisty when I say I'll take her off his hands if it's that big of a deal."
"Well, that's your first mistake." She snickered. "Post partum or not, I don't think that's the wisest thing to say to someone who just had a baby."
"What if that someone wasn't showing any interest in the life he created? I mean, his entire pregnancy he was all fluffy and cute about how excited he was. Now he's just..." he trailed off as the words failed him. "I don't know." He looked down at his daughter and sniffled. "I just don't get how he doesn't want her."
He sniffled again and held Arryanna close. She was his daughter. A person the he helped create. Yeah, he didn't know what the heck to do, but he still wanted to learn.
"He'll come around." Kirstie said, sure of the words. "He's got a lot of turmoil. Everything with Mitch and he did just go through a huge physical ordeal. His body may be healed, but he's still in pain. He's struggling a lot, actually."
"Then why doesn't he ask for help?"
"How often have you seen him ask for help? Remember the day he told us he was pregnant? Remember the wound he had on his stomach? He didn't ask for help until we told him he needed it."
Avi sighed and shook his head. "What, so do I go back in there and tell him to sit down, shut up, and listen?"
"I mean, fighting him wasn't very effective." She shrugged, bringing her hand up to hold her daughter's.
"I know." Avi dropped his shoulders. "I'm just at a loss, is all."
"He'll come around." Kirstie repeated.
"And when will that be? Because, his baby needs him."
She gave an earnest nod and leaned down to kiss her daughters head.

Leigh groaned as she heard the baby crying again.
"Oh, my god!" She gasped. She must have sounded irritated, rather than pleasured, because Kevin perked up for a second.
"What?" He said from between he legs. He was currently going down on her, and was enjoying every bit of it. He went back to what he was doing.
Leigh grabbed the sheets at her sides, as she felt a finger slip inside her. "Scott needs to get his shit toge-gether." A soft moan escaped from her lips as she twitched. "Its been...over a week! My go-." His pace quickened and she body tightned. His mouth was nipping and sucking and licking, which was doing wonders for her.
He was down here enjoying every sound she was making. The way her body loved when ever he did something different, or the way her hips bucked when he his her sweet spot. A moan that would leave her lips meaning she liked what he was doing.
