Scott kept himself as far away from everyone as he could, keeping his arms crossed so he didn't touch anyone.

"Scott." Kevin said, coming up to him.

Scott flinched back and shrunk into himself. "Don't touch me." He said, his blue eyes full of fear.

Kevin raised his hands in a surrendering motion. "You'll see my hands the whole time."

Scott looked at him for a moment before nodding and coming closer.

"What?" He asked.

"What's going on?" He asked.

Scott shrugged. "I want the answer as bad as you do." He said, gripping his biceps. "Is he gonna be okay?" He sniffled.

Kevin nodded. "He'll be fine. I'll heal him when we get back and Leigh says she has an idea about what that was."

Scott looked at the ground as they walked. "I don't wanna hurt anyone."

The Beta sighed. "You didn't hurt him."

"You don't know that. Kevin, the rush I felt when I grabbed his hand..." he shook his head. "What's happening to me?"

Kevin looked off for a second before looking back. "Leigh thinks you may have unlocked a new ability."

"An ability to what, kill people?"

"Leigh and I will explain it when we get home, just...breath, for now." He tried. Kevin wasn't very good at this.

Scott sniffled and wiped his face.

Avi set Mitch down on the couch and Kevin went over to heal him.

Every minute that passed, scott was getting more and more scared. "Why isn't he waking up?" He asked in a shaky voice.

Kevin shook his head. He could feel Mitch healing, it was just taking a really long time. "Its gonna be a minute, guys."

Scott sniffled and went upstairs, locking his bedroom door.

Kirstie wrapped her arms around Avi and looked at Kevin. "He's gonna be okay." She said, feeling Scott's anguish.

Leigh nodded. "Kevin's got him."

Avi took Kirstie out of the room, leaving Leigh with Kevin and Mitch.

"Why is it taking so long?" She asked kneeling down next to him.

Kevin shook his head. "I have no idea. He should be awake by now."

"Could it be the blood?"

"Possibly." Kevin shrugged. "That would make sense." He looked at the demigod on the couch. "He should wake up in a second." He said, he could feel Mitch about to wake up.

Mitch took a deep breath as his eyes fluttered open.

"Ow." He groaned, reaching up to hold his head. "What happened?"

Leigh looked at Kevin. "Go get Scott. Let him know Mitch is awake."

Kevin nodded and went up the stairs.

Mitch was so confused. "Can I get an answer please?"

Leigh sighed. "Scott. He did something and you were on the receiving end of it."

"What even did he do?"

"He...well, he almost killed you." She said bluntly.

Mitch snorted. "I guess we're even." He joked, half-heartedly.

Leigh raised an eyebrow.

"I mean, I almost killed him, so." He shrugged.

She chuckled. "Still, um, are you okay?"

Mitch looked at the ceiling. He felt impossibly drained, and he knew he wouldn't be able to stand up.

"Um, yeah, I'll be alright. I'm really tired."

Leigh smiled and brushed his hair out of his face. "I bet. How about I make you some tea, and you can put on something to watch?"

Mitch sniffled and nodded. He really was tired. "Blankie?" He asked in a small voice.

Leigh chuckled and grabbed the blanket that was draped over the couch and wrapped him up in it.

He smiled as the blanket fell over his face and he let out a little giggle as he snuggled into the soft fabric. He smiled as a thank you when Leigh handed him the remote and opened Netflix. His comfort show had always been Supernatural, so that's what he put on.

About ten minutes later, Leigh returned with a steaming mug of tea and handed it to him with a smile.

"You need anything else?" She asked, adjusting the blanket a little.

"Scotty?" He asked with a hopeful voice.

Leigh nodded and went up the stairs.

Mitch was about halfway through his episode when he saw Scott coming down the stairs.

Scott was absolutely terrified to touch him. Leigh had held his hands to show him that he was okay now, but he was still scared. He didn't want to hurt Mitch. Not again.

Mitch looked at him with big eyes and opened the blanket for Scott. "Cuddle?"

Scott made his way over, rubbing his belly to calm him and slowly sat down with Mitch. Mitch quickly, but gently, made his way into Scott's lap and snuggled into his chest, before quickly falling asleep.

Scott hesitantly held him and looked up at Leigh. "He's okay?"

Leigh nodded with a smile. "Yeah, he's okay. He's a little...little right now, but he's okay."

Scott looked down at the boy in his arms. "Thank you, Leigh. For helping him."

She smiled and nodded. "I know what it's like. It's not something you wanna go through alone." She said. "Well, I'm gonna go. Dont be hard on yourself."

"What exactly did I do?"

Leigh sat with a sigh. "I think...you developed a new ability. You touch someone, and you can use their ability. Only, its taxing on the person."

"So, I could've killed him."

"If you'd held on any longer, possibly."

Scott nodded with a sad look.

"Hey." She said softly, grabbing his hand. "I'll work with you. It's just another thing you need to control."

Scott shook his head frantically. "No. I wont do that to you."

"I'm not giving you a choice. We've got Kevin on standby."

Scott just held Mitch, and there was a long silence between them.

"I'm scared." He said after a bit. "For all of us. Mitch, our baby, Kirstie and hers. Everyone."

"I know you are. But, it's gonna be okay. You guys are making more and more progress every day. Like today for example. You guys worked as a team, instead of individuals."

He looked at Mitch and rocked him.

"You're gonna be okay." Leigh said softly. "All of you."

Scott nodded and slowly leaned down to kiss Mitchs head.
