"I told you you'd be back." Matt said as Mitch walked in.

"Shut up." Mitch said, rolling his eyes. He really wasnt in the mood for this. His throat hurt, he felt like a walking corpse and he was dizzy as can be.

Matt rolled his eyes and grabbed Mitch by his wrist and pulled him against himself, sticking a needle in the boys neck.

Mitch choked at the feeling of ice ran through his veins, but welcomed the relief that came along with it. He could breathe, he could see, he could stand without feeling like he would die if he took another step forward.

He was himself.

He gave a sigh and stretched.

He turned to Matt. "We we're followed." He informed his fellow demigod.

Matt chuckled. "No, you were followed. I teleported to you."

"Whatever." Mitch rubbed his face with his hands. "I don't even care." He was so tired he could feel the physical exhaustion after today's emotional roller coaster and getting punched in the face by his baby mama/daddy. His face hurt because of that.

Mitch went into the bathroom and looked at himself. He looked so much better: his eyes were a rich brown and the dark circles were gone, his cheeks had filled out and he had his color back. He liked fine now.

"I want you to get started of documenting everything you know about the other four." Matt instructed.

Mitch looked at him from the bathroom, as he'd had left the door open.

"Do I look like a book keeper to you?" He sassed.

Matt groaned. That was the only thing Matt hated about this whole thing was that Mitch kept challenging him everytime Matt would give him instructions.

"No, Mitch, but you know the most about them."

"What about Xan? According to you he'd been Avi's best friend since they were 4."

"I already had Xan document what he could. Now, it's your turn." He came forward and held out a pen. "Don't make me put out your flame."

Mitch glared. "Blow me."

"Is that a threat or a promise?"

Mitch flung Matt against the wall.

"You don't get to talk to me like that." The boy snarled.

"Or what?"

Mitch gave him a dark look. "I've given this warning once, to Scott, but I'll give it one more time. You don't wanna piss me off. When I let all of my demons out, is when you should be scared."

Matt looked at him with a blank face. But what was frightening Matt was that Mitchs eyes were black.

Matt just calmly nodded. "Noted. Now can you let me go?"

Mitch waved his hand and rolled his eyes and walked off.

"Idiot." He mumbled under his breath.

Kirstie felt so sick. She was hugging herself tightly as her and Avi walked.

What Avi found sort of amusing was how it had begun to rain, right around the time he started hearing Kirstie sniffling.

"Kit." He said, stopping her and gently grabbing her hands and bringing them to his lips to kiss them.

"I'm sorry." She said pathetically. She shouldnt be this upset right now, Mitch didn't even say anything to her. Not really.

Avi gtabbed her and pulled her into him and held her tight. "You have nothing to apologize for. You did nothing wrong."

Kirstie knew she didn't need to apologize, but she couldn't help it. The tears and the guilt for no reason was hitting her.

She froze.

"Kit?" Avi asked, cupping her face and looking at her.

"Somethings wrong..." She trailed off. She just knew it. "We need to get back to the room." She said. Then booked it in the direction of their motel.

Once they got there, Kirstie slowly opened the door and saw Kevin on the ground holding Scott, who was unconscious.

"What happened?" Avi asked, dropping to his knees beside Scott, checking him.

"A lot." Kevin said. "After you two walked out, Scott...he snapped. He pinned Mitch to the wall by his throat, Mitch panicked and burned him, and them he just collapsed."

"What did Mitch do?" Kirstie asked, seeing the red mark that was on Scott's wrist.

"I have no idea, but this." Kevin picked up Scott's wrist and showed them. "That's where Mitch burned him. The baby healed him and all, but that didn't go away. I don't even know for sure if Mitch did anything, but it's the only thing I can think of." He looked at his friends, looking for an answer he knew they didn't have.

Avi sighed. "Lets get him in bed." He said, before picking Scott up bridal style and carrying him.

Kirstie pulled back the blanket so she could cover Scott up when Avi laid him down.

Avi just looked at him. He could tell Scott genuinely cared about Mitch. If he didn't, Scott wouldn't have gotten so upset. He felt bad: Scott was pregnant, and the father of his child was off doing who knows what.

He sighed and looked at Kirstie, who looked like she was about to fall over. He twitched and was by Kirstie's side in a fraction of a second, just catching her before she fell to the ground. He was gonna ignore super speed for a mlm moment.

He laid her down in her bed and covered her up, tucking her in like she liked, then kissing her head before he nodded to Kevin for them to go outside.

Once they were, Avi spoke first. "What do we do?"

"I have no idea." Kevin said.

"We need to wake him up." Avi said, referring to Scott.

"Yeah, and how do you suggest we do that? We don't even know what's causing it!"

"You said Mitch was affected by the Hell Hound blood right? Then maybe we find a way to counteract it." He suggested. "Obviously, it's not something the baby can fight off and that's why he's unconscious, because she's protecting him."

"We need to find out what happened, and how we fix it."

"While trying to find Mitch."

Kevin nodded.

"My dad told me that Mitch is a huge piece in all of this. He warned me not to trust Mitch."

"You spoke to your father?" Kevin raised am eyebrow.

Avi just nodded. "He said that we need to keep Scott and Kirstie safe."

"Obviously."

"And our kids are supposed to save the world, so there's that."

Kevin just looked at him.

There was a flash of light and they were on the ground.
