The Five Demigods

Chapter 90

Mitch picked himself up from the ground and glared at Hades.

"You're getting in my way." He snarled.

"I'm not letting you hurt anyone." His father told him, preparing himself to move.

"I don't intend to. I want my child." The demigod inched forward, his hands heating up and his eyes turning black.

"You won't go anywhere near her."

"Try me."

Hades tilted his head and smirked. He loved a challenge.

Leigh didn't know what to do. She was sort of all over the place right now.

With Kirstie and Scott in labor, Matt attacking everyone, and Mitch on a mission, she was about to just fly away.

That is, until Kevin found her barely holding herself together in her bedroom. She was currently looking for anything that could help.

"Hey-." He started.

"Before you say anything, I'm not running away, I was looking for something that would maybe help relax Scott and Kirstie because they're in a bit of a stressful situation right now, and the last thing we need is something happening because of that."

Kevin blinked as he watched her move around the room.

"Scott is progressing along quickly, and at the rate hes going, that baby will be here before Matt's gone. Kirstie isn't far behind."

He tried to open his mouth to speak, but Leogh cut him off again.

"We have Mitch going on a rampage all through the house and nothing I know can help get him back to normal, and I have no idea how much blood was injected into his system so there is nothing I can do about that, and as a matter of protecting those two, I'm only one person and can do so much."

He paused, knowing more was gonna come out.

"Youd think with the gods here, shit would be finished and Matt would be gone. But nooooo, the all mighty and all powerful gods can barely help their own kids. Hell, Zeus can't even properly monitor his son. I mean, look how he turned out."

Kevin cleared his throat. "May I speak now?"

Leigh took in a sharp breath, then stopped herself, realizing how much she just said. She gave him a nod.

"Cool. Um, so, Ares and Poseidon are still outside, Hades is handling Mitch, and Aphrodite is downstairs with Scott and Kirstie." He explained.

"Oh." She said, her eyes darting around.  "My point still stands."

"Not really, but okay. Um, are you good?" He questioned her as he gestured to her frazzled self. "You're all over the place."

Leigh sighed, and dropped her hands. "I don't know what to do, and its scaring me."

Kevin nodded. "We need to get Matt out of here. That's the first thing we do. Those babies aren6t ready yet, so we have some time. We have the gods, and they're doing everything they can without interfering too much. It's obvious. They wanna help but they can't and you know that."

Leigh sighed and looked at the ground. "I know."

Kevin came up and cupped her face. "You're smart. You'll figure something out." He have her a kiss. "But right now,  what do we do with Matt."

She looked at him and searched his face. "Injure him. Bad enough to where he needs to leave. That'll at least help, and give Scott and Kirstie a chance to give birth without an immediate threat on their lives."
