Mitch's week was up.

He'd been feeling the withdrawal effects of the Hell Hound blood, and it was making him antsy and nervous and jumpy. He was really hoping no one was noticing.

He was currently in the bathroom, freezing cold.

It was 90° outside. He was cold to the touch and he just knew Scott would say something and ask if he was okay.

He looked at himself and he was impossibly pale, his veins were super dark and stood out, his cheeks were sunken in, and he had dark circled around his eyes. He looked awful. He didn't feel much better.

He cleared his throat and fixed his hair before walking out.

Kevin was still angry with the Son of Hades. He had a gash on his head from when Mitch telekeneticaly threw a rock at him and knocked him out. He didn't say anything, knowing it would just cause problems, but it didnt change for his opinions about Mitch.

He didn't trust him. At all.

He watched Mitch slowly make make his way over to Scott and snuggle into him. Mitch looked horrible. It was like he was getting worse and worse each day.

Kirstie was passed out, she hadn't been feeling well, which was starting to concern Kevin. He'd seen her trying to act casual on her way to the bathroom, being paler than a sheet.

Avi glared at Mitch. He was still very upset about Mitch shaving off his facial hair. Now his face was cold, and he didn't like it.

Scott noticed that Mitch was shivering and he wasnt as warm as he usually was. He was actually really cold.

He just held Mitch tight to try and warm him up.

"Are you okay?" He asked softly.

Mitch whimpered. "I just don't feel very good."

What he needed to do was get away and meet up with Matt and Xan and T. He just didn't have the energy to move. He barely had the energy to breathe, he was that exhausted.

Scott kissed Mitchs head and held him tight.

Mitch twitched. Christ. Not again. He mentally whined. He started twitching so bad that he had to walk around, since that ansty feeling was returning.

He jumped up and went over to his shoes. "I'm gonna go for a walk." He said before walking out the door without waiting for a response.

He went to the park where he was told to and waited, sending Matt a text, letting him know Mitch was there.

He appeared almost instantly.

"You look like death." Matt pointed out.

Mitch rolled his eyes. "I dont give a fuck." He said. "I did what you asked."

"Do they trust you?"

"I mean, Scott does. Maybe Kirstie. Avi, I'm not sure. Kevin, definitely not." He explained.

What Mitch didn't know, was that Kevin had followed him. He knew it. He freakin' knew it. He was right not to trust Mitch.

He turned and ran back to the motel before the risk of getting caught got to high.

"Do they know anything about you working with us?" Matt continued.

"No. And I don't plan on them finding out anytime soon."

"And how is everything going with Scott?"

"I told you when I agreed to this: Unless it deals with the group as a whole, Scott's name doesn't leave your mouth, nor does anything that has to do with my daughter."

"What are you gonna do, Mitch? You look horrible and I'm sure with all the physical changes your body is dealing with right now because of the Hell Hound blood, is limiting the amount of control you have over your abilities. Any threat you make will be an empty one."

"Then you clearly haven't seen me pissed off." Mitch chuckled, irritated.

"No, but I'm sure I will." Matt sassed, also irritated.

Mitch just rolled his eyes and dropped his arms. "What else do you need me to do?"

"You've done your part. More than what you were supposed to."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Mitch spat.

"You didn't need to sleep with Scott. You did that on your own."

"How do you even know about that?"

"I have my ways." Matt smiled.

"Oh, you mean Xan? What, is he spying on me? Again?"

"Not...you. hes actually spying on the whole group, get another outside view. Hes been watching Avi mostly. Didn't you know that Xan is Avi's best friend back home?"

Mitch looked at him. He didn't know that. Then again, why would he? No one ever spoke to him.

"So, you've been watching us this entire time?"

"Only for a couple years." Matt shrugged.

"Years?!"

"Mhmm."

"Yeah, because that's not stalker-ish in the slightest." The shorter boy mumbled.

"All of this is meant to be, Mitch, don't you see that?"

Mitch sighed. "My head hurts. I really don't wanna have this conversation." He put his fingers to his temples and rubbed them in small circles, hoping to get some if the pain to subside. What he wanted was to cuddle with Scott until he felt better, but he knew that wouldn't be happening.

"You're a powerful asset Mitch. Don't screw it up."

"How could I possibly do that?" Mitch said sarcastically. He was pretty good at messing things up, as of late.

"I mean it, Mitch." Matt said. And then he was gone.

Mitch watched as the leaves fell back to the ground as he turned around and started walking back to the room.

"Kevin, are you sure?" Avi said.

"Woild I really make this up?" Kevin asked him. He sighed. "Remember the other night when I "went for a walk"?"

Avi nodded.

"Yeah, I didn't go for a walk. Mitch threw a damn rock at me and knocked me out. Right in the middle of the freaking parking lot!" He pointed the the gash that was right along his hairline. That thing still hurt.

"Mitch cannot be trusted. I just saw him consulting with Matt about something."

Scott felt sick. Not baby sick, but a disgusted kind of sick. Did Mitch lie to him this entire time?

"What do we do?" Kirstie asked.

"Keep an eye on him at all times." Kevin said firmly.

Everyone nodded. Except Scott.

He put a hand to his stomach and just looked as the wall.
