The group was silent. No one was talking.

Scott was looking at Mitch, Kirstie was off in the corner with Avi, and Kevin was with Leigh.

Scott just couldn't figure it out. Why was Mitch back, and what happened while he was asleep? He didn't know how he felt about the situation. About Mitch. It was all confusing to him.

He stiffened when he saw Mitch move forward in his direction.

Mitch sighed when he saw it. "Please." He begged. Something he never did. "I just wanna talk." He said as he crossed his arms, hiding his hands.

The blond relaxed a bit and let Mitch come forward.

He slowly sat down and looked hesitantly up at Scott. He felt about an inch tall right now.

"I..." he started. "I don't know...how to apologize for what I did, and make it count for something. But...I'm sorry."

Scott sat there. He didnt speak. He didn't move. He just looked at Mitch, waiting for him to continue.

"I hurt you." The brunette continued, sniffling. "I hurt you and our little girl." Tears were on the brink of falling down his face. "I'm so sorry. For all of it. For everthing."

The tears fell down his face as he looked back up at Scott.

When Scott didn't respond he nodded and wiped his face with shaky hands. "Okay." He said, as he stood and walked away.

Scott wanted to stop him. He wanted to talk to Mitch about it, but he couldn't bring himself to.

Kirstie, who was cuddled into Avi's side, tenderly rubbing her bump. There was a smile on her face until she saw Mitch walk by, looking like he was about to panic.

"I'll be right back." She said to Avi, using him to help herself up.

She ignored whatever Avi's reply was and followed her friend.

She saw him drop to his knees the moment he opened the back door. She ran to him.

"Mitch." She said. "Talk to me."

He did his best to tell her not to touch him as he hyperventilate and everything started spinning. She let go just as a three foot long flame shot from his hand.

"Mitchy..." she said, slowly touching him to let him know she was real. "Look at me."

He slowly turned and looked at her, and when he did, he had orange eyes.

"Hey." She said calmly, gently cupping his face. "Its okay. You're safe."

"I-Its not ev-ven that. The-the way he looks at m-me..." He couldn't finish that sentence.

"You gotta give him some time."

"Its the same look I've gotten from my mom for 16 years, Kirstie! I know that look better than I know myself. He hates me."

"Honey, no."

"Yes. He does. I mean, can you blame him? I almost killed the motherfucker!"

"Okay, you know what? Come smoke with me."

"Why?"

"To calm you down. Come on, you'll feel better."

Mitch huffed. He was irritated at this point. "Fine."

Kirstie chuckled as she pulled him in for a gentle hug. "Come on, I found a spot last night."

"You and Avi didnt have sex there, did you?"
