Amelia inspected herself carefully in the mirror, triple checking the outfit she'd chosen for her outing that afternoon with Levi.
Am I too casual? She quietly worried, shifting her position to get a more in depth review of the apparel.
She'd briefly considered wearing the one dress she owned, but decided against it; it just really wouldn't suit her. She instead settled with white pants that clung to her body perfectly, landing right on her curved waist (and were coincidentally a pair from her numerous uniforms). She'd also worn a maroon top that had flowing, sheer sleeves, yet was tight around her torso. It was truly the only 'nice' piece clothing she'd owned and was, in her opinion, much better than the only other option she'd had. The two clothing items exquisitely contrasted with her tanned complexion in different manners, both furthering the breathtaking appearance she had. Amelia even went as far as to attempt to reign in her wild head of rambunctious locks, a rather arduous thing to do, until they were deemed worthy of her first official date with Levi.
To be fair, it would more than likely be their last one (at least for awhile) as well, since they had yet another expedition in a little over two weeks. They were both aware that they should savor the minute fraction of time they had together, and they would more than likely do so.
A knock on her door pulled her from her thoughts, Amelia granting the person permission to enter the dwelling/office space.
"Corporal, I know you're off today, I just-" Jean had a reason for intruding; he really did. Though the second he'd walked into the room, whatever it had been, completely fled from his mind. He stopped the query mid sentence as Amelia turned to him, the brightness she effortlessly exuded heightened from her preemptive happiness for the day ahead with her fiancé. Jean couldn't help but think about how incredible she looked outside of her typical Scout Regiment attire, despite being aware of what she had been formally covered for.
"Yes?" She innocently asked, her wide hazel irises meeting his brown ones.
"I-uh-I," he stammered, when suddenly a hand came crashing onto his shoulder. Jean flinched from the unforeseen action, slowly peering down at an all too familiar narrowed gaze.
