Amelia and Farlan had started their grueling journey toward the safety of Wall Rose.

Unfortunately, it had been taking them twice as long, due to the their stubborn, lingering wounds.

However, in the eternal sea of adversity, Amelia managed to massacre countless titans along the way. Of course, she knew that she was further harming herself with each kill she was forced to acquire. With the options being this or death, she was given no other choice besides the latter.

She'd grown accustom to the sickening smell of decaying flesh prior to the rather poor circumstance she was in and, as disturbing as it sounds, it was quite literally second hand nature at this point. Amelia cut through too many napes to count, tendons sliced under blade. She was constantly drenched in their dissipating blood, accompanied with her own thick sheet of sweat from the overexertion she mandatorily used.

In each instance that inevitably forced her wrist's or ankle's fracture worsen from her defensive murderous spree, she'd clench her jaw and gritted her canines in silent resentment, suppressing her constant urges to scream so that she wouldn't attract any more of the beast to their wandering location.

Sleep at this point was near impossible- Amelia only resting when she passed out from the sheer exhaustion of it all. Her rambunctious curls were particularly rowdy, greasy and sticking astray in random, disorganized placement. There was a familiar red liquid that'd laced within the chocolate ringlets, dirt staining her tanned skin.

"We'll be there tomorrow, I swear. Just keeping holding on for me." She quietly encouraged, "we can do this."

She slowed their hasty pace, settling by a private area that was only filled with the few trees around.
