[Part Two]
"We did it!" She exclaimed, the wind swaying her hair ever so gently, lashes fluttering as she smiled broader than he'd ever seen, the sunlight making her freckles more discernible and tanned skin seemingly glow.
The air smelled of salt, but also of a freshness that couldn't quite be described. The sand was grainy against the temples of his feet, the tiny particles forcing him to sink into its warmth. The feeling was foreign while somehow comforting as well.
"You really should get out of there, we don't know what's in it." Levi apathetically spoke, though his heart was swelling at her naturally beautiful presence.
"You worry too much." She shrugged off the warning, glancing over at him, "we outlived those damned titans, what could be worse?"
