Day something since Arius has gone missing, nothing out of the ordinary, Hooty has been on guard all night, Eda taking morning shifts just to be sure. Luz was in class, very bored. Until the door opened. She perked up, her foot tapping on the floor as the human neared.

Amity was late, like usual. She sat by Luz, the witch already in a better mood, "Morning Amity." Luz smiled.

"Morning Luz, sorry I was late, Lilith couldn't find her potion so I had to help and look." Amity fumbled, taking her notebook out.

"I don't mind that you were late, just seeing you okay makes up for it." Luz stated, sitting up and opening up her own notebook.

Amity hid her face, Luz getting a pencil and paper, "Don't say things like that.." Amity said quietly.

"Hm? Like what?"

The teacher shushed them, then went back to the notes, Luz moving closer to Amity. She gently elbowed the human, trying to peek at her cherry face. "Amity?"

The human lowered her head in to her elbows, Luz gently nudging her, "Did I say something wrong..?"

"You're such an idiot.."

"Amity did I say something that hurt your feelings? I'm sorry- Amity can you look at me?"

The human just tuned her out, not wanting to focus on the witch who was literally killing her with words. This was going to be a long day..

"Jeffery open up!" Amity exclaimed, poking her locker. "I gave you your candy! Give me my books!"

Her locker growled, "I'm not giving you another."

It hissed, clamping it's mouth shut. Amity sighed, reaching in to her bag, taking out a candy, offering it to him. It opened up, Amity putting her bag away, taking a book and three more candies for later. "Thank you Jeffrey, don't let anyone else in."

It let out a content growl, Amity sighing and heading down the hall, already late. She rushed to Oracle, everyone looking at her when she finally entered. The teacher waved her over, lazily pointing to the students, "Alright dear, you get to pick Luz or-"

"Luz."

"Or-"

"Luz."

"Ookay- Go ahead-"

Amity went over to her no longer rainbow witch, sitting by her, Luz in the middle of the assignment, "Hey Luz."

"Hm."

"You okay?" Amity asked, leaning forward so she could get a better view of Luz's current expression.

"Mhm."

"You sure? You don't hum responses to me.."

"Mm."

"D-Did I do something..?"

"Mm-mm." Luz shook her head.

"L-Luz I need you to tell me if I did-" Amity blurted out. "I'm going to start panicking-"

Luz scribbled down notes from the Oracle potion, glancing back at the pot, then down at her paper. Amity drew back, trembling. School back at home was difficult for her, she couldn't trust anyone, she couldn't even have friends for over three minutes!

The witch jot down more notes, taking another peek at the potion, same answer. Amity lowered her head, burrying her head in her arms. Luz pat Amity's head, scratching behind her ear, "Couldn't last two minutes." Luz sighed. "Hug?"

Amity trembled, Luz rubbing her back, "Hug please.."

Luz pushed herself away from the table, Amity hesitantly getting up, sitting in Luz's lap. The witch adjusted how she held the human, then rested her head on Amity's. The human nuzzled in to her chest, purring very quietly, "I would never make you feel this way Amity, you know that.."

The human nodded slowly, "I'm sorry.."

"Don't be. Just know, I can't keep a secret from you now."

Amity wrapped her arms around Luz's neck, the witch returning to the potion, "So you're not mad..?"

"Heavens no, I could never be.." Luz said, rubbing Amity's back. "You're too sweet to do anything wrong."

Amity's purrs grew, Luz switching hands, then continued rubbing her back. "Hmm~"

"I'll do the work, you need rest." Luz said, kissing her head. "Okay?"

Amity tensed up, before she relaxed, and nodded, "Okay.."

Jeffrey snarled, hissing at Amity, "I do not have any more of your candies!" The human huffed. "Jeffrey, open!"

Luz poked it's eye, the locker hissing and opening up. "Don't baby it Amity, it won't listen to you."

"You baby me, and I listen to you." Amity muttered, taking her books out, putting the others away. "I will bring you something from my lunch later," Amity pat the locker. "No biting."

Jeffrey closed it's mouth, growling quietly, closing it's eye. "Your lunch is in there." Luz muttered.

The human groaned, "And he just fell asleep.."

After a few minutes of fighting, she got her lunch out, giving Jeffrey some of her snacks, a bit of her veggies, and another candy. He listened to her the rest of the day, so it was alllllll good for the school day.

And as you all recall, Amity ditched Luz for Eileen for potions, hm? So, Amity wanted to make it up to Luz, and asked if the witch was still up for a little re-do. Of course, the simping witch agreed, so they decided to go after school. Now, time for the one thing Luz and Amity had to make up. "Oh hey!! It's you!" The cashier exclaimed. "Still sorry about being ditched lass."

Luz glanced over at Amity, the human burrying her face in her palms, "This was her." Luz said, side pointing to Amity.

The cashier ohed, "Whoops. Sorry, but at least ya know what you did was wrong." She said, patting the counter. "What can I get for ya ladies?"
