The banned poster. [4 Part 2]

Luz was in class, expecting Amity to call for her. "Luz! It's your turn to present!" The teacher shouted.

As Luz stood up, she heard her name being called out. "May I go to restroom first?"

"Be quick." The teacher said.

Luz thanked her, and rushed out of the room. "LUZ!! I NEED HELP!!" Amity shouted.

Luz ran after the sound of her voice, and it lead her to the garden. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Luz shouted, running towards her.

"I was trying to touch the pretty plant!!" Amity said, trying to pull her hand out.

Luz walked closer to the plant itself, and rubbed it's chin. It was very ticklish there, and it spit Amity out. "Honestly, you're like what, 14? You should know how to read." Luz said, pointing to the 'Don't touch' sign.

Amity laughed sheepishly, and rubbed the back of her neck. "Wait where's your mentor?" Luz asked, looking around.

"I..I don't know.." Amity mumbled, rubbing her wrist.

Luz groaned and grabbed Amity's hand. "Come on.."

                           ~Later~

"Oh hey kids! I got a poster!" Lilith said, coming down from the tree.

"Let me see!" Amity said, going towards her.

But she was immediately pulled back. "What did we talk about...?" Luz asked.

"Not to run away..?" Amity mumbled.

"I need to get a presentation, so please stay out of public areas." Luz said letting go of Amity's hand.

"Mhm, got it." Amity said.

"Don't get caught in a plant again, and stay out of trouble." Luz said, walking off.

"Okay!" Amity said, waiting for Luz to turn the corner. "Let's get into some trouble." Amity said looking up at her mentor.

Lilith pat her apprentices shoulder. "Let's go follow that kid instead." She said with a smirk.

"Wha..No! She needs her privacy!!"

"Now I really want to follow her!" Lilith said, dragging Amity by her arm.

"W-Wait! L-Lilith!!"

                          ~Later~

"Thank you Luz for that amazing presentation!" The teacher said, clapping.

Luz bowed, and went back to her seat. The rest of the day was actually pretty normal. Luz didn't get in trouble, got lots of praise for her work, talked with Boshca, protected Boshca, and hung out with Boshca in their last class.

After school ended, Luz went to the library. Being followed by the twins, and a baby Griffin. How did she get it? It just decided to follow her after she pet it. She was now being followed by, the twins, a baby Griffin, Lilith, and Amity.

"Why are you two here.." Luz mumbled.

"To have some fun! Duh!" The twins said in unison.

"It's a library." Luz said, looking back at them.

"Education is key." They said, keeping a semi-straight face.

Luz sighed. The baby Griffin snuck into her bag, without Luz noticing. Then Luz went in the library. She greeted the librarian, and handed him a book. "A month early I see..."

"It's a good book, thank you for letting me check it out." Luz said.

"Mhm, go on now." He said, waving her off.

She laughed and went to the kids section. "Miss.Luz!" A kid shouted, running after her.

"Hey buddy!" She said picking him up.

"You're late! We've been alone for 20 seconds!!" He said, trying to sound angry.

Luz laughed, and put him down. "We've already picked a book Miss.Luz!" Another kid shouted.

"Alright alright, where did you put it?"

"On your chair!" All the kids shouted.

Luz walked over to 'her' chair, grabbed the book, and sat down. "Alright, Brax. Keeping track of time?"

"Yes ma'am!" The deep voiced boy shouted.

"Then let's get into it!"

                           ~Later~

"Luz...Reading to kids?" Amity said, sliding down on the wall.

"Mhm, looks like it Kid."

"Hey! It's the pretty lady that was at the Owl House yesterday!" Edric said, rushing over to her.

"Oh..You two.." Amity mumbled.

"Yeah it's us." Emira said, sticking her hand out.

Amity cautiously took it, and got off the floor. "What are you two doing here?"

"Oh right, almost forgot." Edric said, taking something out of his bag, and walking towards the room Luz was in.

"See you guys next week." Luz said, putting the book away.

The kids left the room excitedly, and rushed to their parents. "Hey nerd!"

Luz groaned, and looked over at Edric. "Your mom says stop forgetting your lunch." He said, sticking the lunchbox out to her.

She walked over, and snatched it from him. "Hey Luz.." Amity mumbled.

Even though they knew each others names, Luz didn't feel comfortable calling Amity her friend. "Amity.." Luz muttered, walking back to her seat.

Amity stuck her hand out towards her, then pulled back. "Stop being rude to your friend nerd." Edric said.

"We're not friends, I only helped her get rid of a potion effect."

"You made cupcakes together dork." Emira said.

"Because King asked me to help make some, I only suggested if she wanted to assist me." Luz muttered.

"I can see why you're not friends, she seems to cool for you." Emira said, resting her arm on Amity's shoulder.

"I am?" Amity mumbled.

"Just leave." Luz said getting fed up.

"Let's go fellow green haired dork, let's go have some fun." Edric said waving her over.

Amity nodded, and followed them.
