"This was a bad idea.." Amity mumbled, trying to keep herself up.

"Just focus on me, you'll get used to it eventually." Luz said skating with ease.

"I feel like I'm going to slip and get hurt.." Amity muttered.

"I'll help you out." Luz said, extending her arm.

The human hesitantly took the witches hand, being pulled towards her. "Just because you can't do it now, doesn't mean you can't do it in the future. A little practice goes a long way." Luz said, keeping her arms around Amity's waist.

"I'm nervous.." The human mumbled.

"Don't be."

"I'm going to slip.."

"No, you won't."

"I can't do this.."

"Well you already are!" Luz said, spinning the human around. "Just focus on something else, talking helps, or you could focus on me." The witch said, keeping her close.

"You're doing this backwards, how is that even possible?" Amity asked.

"It's like skating regularly, just doing it in reverse. Push every once in a while or you'll fall behind." Luz said, pulling Amity towards her.

"Luz! Look at me!!" King shouted, skating pass her.

Amity giggled, her grip on the witch loosening. "See? You're doing well, just stay focused." Luz said.

The human looked down at her feet, trying to keep focus. "Don't try so hard, relax. Keep a consistent beat." Luz said, turning around and taking the humans hand.

The witch skated beside her, Amity loosing a bit of focus. "You got this, it's okay."

"I'm on the baby track Luz, it is not okay." Amity muttered, trying to keep herself up. "You're part of the advanced group, you shouldn't be hanging around me.."

"But I want to. So what if they tease me? If you learn something, it'll make the teasing worth it. So focus, and maybe you'll be better at it eventually." Luz said, tightening her grip on the humans hand.

Amity picked up the pace, eventually letting go of the witches hand. She skated around, keeping a consistent pace. "See? You're doing well!" Luz exclaimed, skating around her.

"Amity! Amityyyy!!" King shouted. "I made a crown in the ice!" He shouted, pointing to the center.

Luz skated around it, making sure not to ruin his drawing. She made circles on the tips, making them look like jewels. "There, perfect."

Amity attempted to skate around it, only to for her arse to meet the cold ice. Luz swiftly skated towards her, helping the human up. "You okay? Are you hurt? Do you want to go sit down?"

"I'm okay, I'm okay. Just kinda cold." Amity muttered, most of her weight on the witch.

Luz picked her up, actually managing it on the ice. She skated towards the rim, the human leaning against it. "Want to take a break?" Luz asked.

"I do! I want to eat some cupcakes." King said, skating towards the exit.

"You just had one!" Luz shouted.

He stuck his purple tounge out, going to their table anyways. "He never listens.." Luz muttered. "Come on, think you can skate?"

Amity shook her head, almost slipping again. Luz picked her up, skating towards the exit. Helping the human sit down. "Alright, you repaid me by coming. Where do you want to go?" Luz asked.

"I want a warrior!" King shouted.

"You have like 100, you want more?" Luz scoffed.

"What does he mean by warrior?" Amity chimed in.

"Stuffies." Luz responded. "If I get you another one, you have to let me fix Francois. His left ear is going to rip if you don't let me help him." Luz said.

"Fine." He huffed, stuffing his face in the cupcake.

Amity untied the skates, taking them off. She put her shoes back on, Luz eventually doing the same. King just needed something to protect his little toe beans.

"This one is so cute!" Amity squealed, squeezing it tightly.

She put the teddy back, going over to King. "Which one you trying to reach for buddy?" The human asked.

He pointed to a plumpy dragon plushie, beginning to climb up the side. Amity helped him reach for it, him messing around with it. The human flinched once she felt something peck her cheek. She looked to her left, only to be face to face with the bear she saw awhile ago. "Here." Luz said, handing Amity the bear.

"Oh- No it's okay!"

"Just take it, I insist."

Amity took the bear, squeezing it tightly a second later. King jumped on her shoulder, holding on to his stuffie. "We good to go?" Luz asked.

The two people in front of her nodded. "We'll go visit the teachers after, so be ready to say your name 15 times because the nurses don't listen." Luz sighed.

"Got it!" Both 'children' exclaimed.
