Volleyball. [6]

'Knock Knock' Luz looked up from her homework, and to the window. She got up, and opened it. The baby Griffin from the other day, flew in and landed on Luz's shoulder.

"Oh, it's you!" Luz said, petting it.

It put it's paw up, showing Luz the paper tied to his foot. Luz unwrapped it, and read the note. 'Hey Luz!! I figured out what to name him! I named him Fynn. Pretty cool right? –Amity'

"Fynn, huh?"

He trilled and nuzzled Luz. She smiled and walked back to her desk. And wrote a letter back. She tied it on Fynn's paw and gave him a kiss. He flew back out the window, and made his way to Amity's house.

He made it in record time, just as the sun was setting. Fynn pawed at window that was left open, and went in. He flew over to Amity, and landed on her arm. "Did Luz get my note?"

He stuck his paw out, nudging the new note. She took it and opened it. 'Pretty cool is an understatement, I find it...Exquisite.' Amity laughed, remembering what happened when Luz helped her escape.

'Goodnight Amity. -Luz' Amity fell back on her bed, and dreamily sighed.

"She sure is something.." She said dreamily.

Fynn layed down on her chest, looking at her questioningly. "Let's visit her at school tomorrow." She said, petting Fynn.

He curled up into a ball, and dozed off. Amity sighed. 'I need to go to the restroom–'

                    ~The next day~

"Hey Boshca!" Amity said excitedly.

"Hey Amity– AMITY!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" Boshca shouted pushing her to the side.

"I came to visit Luz–" Fynn came out of her bag, and flew around.

Probably looking for Luz. "FYNN!! COME BACK!!!" Amity shouted, about to run after him.

Boshca pulled her back. "He'll come back, they're loyal!! You shouldn't be here..!"

"But...Luz said she'd teach me magic.. She even put my hand in a purple spell circle thingy!!"

"She...Made an oath..? She hasn't done one those in awhile.." Boshca muttered. "Okay, go find Luz. But stay undercover." Boshca said, putting a hat on Amity.

She moved the hat to cover Amity's ears. "Go, and be careful."

"Thanks!" Amity said, before running off.

"She's totally crushing on Luz.." Boshca said, walking into the building.

Amity snuck around to the back of the school, hoping to see Skara or Luz. "LUZ HIT IT BACK!!" One of her teammates shouted.

Luz hit the volleyball back, scoring the final point before the time ran out. She sighed, and wiped her face. On of her teammates punched her arm playfully. "Good job Dork."

"Yeah yeah, lay off." Luz said nudging her. "Just add the win for us." She said, walking to the benches.

Luz sat down, grabbed her towel, and wiped the sweat off her face. "I have this huge feeling, that I'm being watched.." Luz said, looking at her teammate.

"Sure, now let's get back to the game." Her teammate said.

Luz sighed, and got up. "Amity."

The green and brown haired girl went stiff. "I know you're watching me."

Amity hid her head lower in to the bush a bit more. Luz walked over to the bush Amity was in, and casted a fire spell. "Get out before I set you on fire."

Amity took her head out, and stared at Luz sheepishly. "AH! YOU REALLY WERE IN THERE!!" Luz said jumping back.

"I saw that you won the game for your team..."

Luz rubbed the back of her neck. "Yeah, I'm the 'best' player on the team.."

"You don't sound to happy about it.." Amity mumbled.

"I like the game and all, but don't like when I get praise for it. Here, let me show you something." Luz said, grabbing Amity's hand and pulling her out. "People would care more about me, then you. That's what I hate about it."

"Hey dork! Get back in the game!!" Her teammate shouted.

Luz took off the hat Amity was wearing, and pushed her to her friends. "There's a human here.." Luz mumbled, trying to sound frightened.

Amity stepped back, wondering what they would do to her. "Neat, okay can we please get back to the game?"

"I told you." Luz said, putting the hat back on Amity. "You can watch if you want, just watch out for the ball."
