"I'm not implying anything human." Luz said.

"Amity. It's Amity. And you know it it." Amity said sternly.

"Am I hurting your feelings like that?" Luz asked.

"No, it's annoying me."

"Should we stop them?" Skara whispered to King.

"Nah, let's just see what happens." He responded.

"How much? Enough for you to fight back about it?" Luz teased.

"Yes, now stop calling me that!" Amity shouted

"Why? Are you saying you're not human?"

"I am! And I'm proud of it! But I don't need to be told that every 2 minutes!"
Amity huffed. "At least I'm not a hybrid like you!!"

Luz stopped talking, and stood up straight. "Wow...Y-You had to go that far over a stupid nickname?" Luz asked, her voice breaking.

"L-Luz- I-" Amity mumbled, reaching out to grab her hand.

"L-Leave it. It's in the past.." Luz mumbled, turning around.

"W-Wait- Luz I'm-"

"I tried to fix things...But it's not worth it.." Luz made a hiccing sound, and wiped her face.

She looked back at Amity, possibly for the last time. "Don't come back to my house. Don't ever come back to the school. Don't talk to me...At all.." Luz mumbled, before running off.

"LUZ!!" King shouted, running after her.

Amity trembled, and fell to the ground. "You went to far Blight..." Amity muttered to herself.

"Amity! W-Why would you say that!?" Skara asked.

"I..I wasn't thinking...She..She hates me..." Amity mumbled, wiping her face. "N-Now she'll never talk to me again! A-All because I wouldn't mess around with her..! I'm such an idiot!!" Amity said, burrying her head into her palms.

"Hey...It's okay..." Skara mumbled, rubbing her back. "S-She'll get over it, right?"

"Luz..?"

"Yes King?" The 'Hybrid' responded.

"Are you okay..?" He mumbled, walking over to her.

"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me. Did you have fun today?" Luz asked, picking him up.

"At first I did...But now you're sad.." King whimpered.

"I'm not sad, just having a bad day. Don't worry Rey." Luz said, petting him.

He hugged Luz, feeling bad that he didn't stop the argument. "I'm okay King. I promise." The hybrid responded, giving him a kiss.

~The next day at school~

"Then she asked me if I was straight. And I said no, obviously." Agustus said, scrolling through Penstragram.

"Hey Luz, you look like someone died. You okay?" Willow asked.

"Mhm. Just tired." Luz said smiling.

"Alright, you're free to go." Willow said, waving her off.

Luz went to her third class, and sat in the front. No one was there, not even the teacher. 'Tap Tap' Luz looked at the window, and spotted an enfield. It smiled sheepishly at her, and signaled her to open the window.

Luz got up, and left the room. Not wanting to do anything with Amity. She decided to just wait outside of the class, so she wouldn't have to look at her. 'Bonk' Luz looked to her right, and spotted the enfield once again. She had banged her head on the locker on accident.

Amity groggily stood up, and looked around. Luz got off the floor, and left before Amity spotted her. Sadly, she wasn't lucky. Amity spotted her as Luz turned the corner. She ran after her, trying to catch up to the hybrid. Luz went to her 5th class, going in before Amity could reach her. "Then we- Luz?" The teacher asked.

"Yes?" The hybrid responded.

"What are you doing here? It's only 2nd period is it not?"

"Actually it's break. What are you doing?" Luz asked.

"It's break? Oh heavens. Class dismissed." The teacher said, putting her stick down.

The students quickly packed up and rushed out of the room. Amity snuck in, but was immediately pushed out by the students. "What did you need dear?" The teacher asked.

"Nothing, just didn't feel like going to my third class yet."

Amity finally managed to sneak in, and she jumped on the desk closest to Luz. She yipped, and tried jumping on her shoulder. Luz caught her before she could land on her. "Change the enfield back to normal." Luz said, tossing Amity to the desk.

The teacher, not knowing how to react, did as she was told. Before Amity transformed back, Luz left the room. "Tell me her schedule, please!!" Amity said, getting off the desk.

"AH! HUMAN!"

"I don't care if I'm human or not anymore! Just tell me her classes! Please! I still want us to be friends!!" Amity shouted.

The teacher closed her mouth slightly. "Friends?"

"Yes! Please!!"

"Let me see what I can do."
