[65 part 2]

"Mija! I'm back!" Camilla shouted, opening the door. "Did daddy help you with homework?" She called out.

Luz ran over to her as best she could, clenching on to her mothers pants. She was shaking, her cheek swelling, and blood seeping through the wound on her leg. "M-Mami h-he t-threw a bwottle at mwe.." The hybrid cried, looking in the dark hall.

Her ears went down further, she quickly rushed to hide behind her mother. "I hear hwim movwing.."

"Your dad?"

"He's nwot my dad!" She cried out.

Camilla picked her daughter up. "He is your father, do not shout at me. He threw a bottle at you?" The human asked.

Luz nodded, nuzzling in to the crook of her mothers neck, shaking. Camilla went upstairs, seeing her husband on the bed reading. "What happened?" Arius asked, swiftly getting off the bed.

The hybrid yelped, tightening her grip on her mother. "She said you hit her with a bottle?"

"Heavens no, I dropped a cup and it must've cut her. I'm so sorry hunny.." He said, kissing Luz's head.

The kid began shaking uncontrollably, her dad had fixed the problem. He was tipsy a minute ago, there was a broken bottle on the floor, and her blood should've been where her mother is standing. Darn you magic. "I'll go put her to bed, she's probably just exhausted." Arius said, taking Luz from Camilla.

"Okay, I'm going to go shower." The human said, kissing her husband and kid.

He nodded, taking Luz to her room. "You little brat." He snarled, putting her down. "Never do that again you hear?" He huffed, kicking her in the room.

She stayed down, nodding slowly. He closed the door, going back to his room. Luz crawled over to her bed, crying in her stuffies chest. No ones here for her, she doesn't have a shoulder to cry on, she's only 3! She needs someone to look up to. Not a sorry excuse for a father! On with the flashback..

                      ~2 years later~

Luz read a book on the couch, her mom doing the same with a separate book. The silence was then filled with a classical ringtone. Luz took out her scroll, giving it to her mother. "Hello? Mhm..Yeah..Right now? It's the– Okay okay..Bye.."

Camilla hung up, giving the scroll back. "What happened?" The hybrid asked.

"I was called in for work." The human said, getting up. "There was an accident and they need some help."

"But it's your day off.." Luz muttered.

Camilla grabbed her bag, and name tag. "I'll be home later in the day. Take care." She said, kissing Luz's forehead then going to the door. "Bye!"

The hybrids ears went down slightly, her dad coming towards her. She picked up her book, walking towards him. "Betty's coming over. So you better behave, or else."

Luz looked up at him. "Who's Betty..?"

"None of your business." He snarled.

The hybrid tightened her grip on the book she was holding. "It is my businesses if you're going to keep cheating on mom! You have had 14 girlfriends and 3 wives in the last 3 years!" She shouted.

He slapped her roughly, the hybrid keeping her ground. "Don't you dare shout at me you mistake. I don't care about your mother anymore." He huffed.

"You can't hurt her anymore! Mom's going to find out eventually! Then she'll finally leave your sorry butt!"

He spread her legs, kicking her shin. Arius grabbed her by her shirt, pinning her up against the wall. "Listen here you little brat, I've been letting you live for your mother. If I end you, right now, she'll try again. And I just want to leave this stupid family."

Luz tried to set herself free, trying to hit him, anything. "After you're gone, so am I." He said in a demonic tone.

                      ~4 hours later~

"I'm back!" Camilla said, opening the door.

Arius gasped, looking over at her. Camilla dropped the bag of treats, standing in the doorway. "M-Mom.." Luz mumbled, trying to get up. "Do something..Get rid of him..Please.."

He slapped the hybrid, who then fell back down. Camilla tackled him, pinning him to the ground. "Call the guards, he's not going anywhere till they get here." The human said.

Luz panted, taking out her scroll. By then, it began to rain. She called the guards, Arius struggling the whole time. After Luz had informed them, they had to wait for them to arrive. During this, the hybrid went to Betty, who was barely waking up. "You okay miss..?" Luz asked.

"I-I'm fine, are you?"

"Luz who is she?" Camilla asked, kicking Arius' private.

Luz looked at Betty, then back at her mom. "Dad's 14th girlfriend.."

The human looked down at her husband, in total disbelief. "14th? How long has this been going on?"

"Remeber the first time you found me with wounds..? Around then is when it started.." Luz mumbled, getting up.

She walked over to the door, looking out. "The guards are coming..I hope you rot in prison you sorry excuse for my dad." Luz said, looking back at him with a devilish smirk on her face.

"Darn, I should've thought this through better..."
