The cherrining. [73 part 2]

Get it? Like the awakening? Haha- I'll stop now-

Luz stuck out her tounge, another tied stem. "Are we done yet? I'm getting really bored." Luz huffed, taking out the stem.

Amity slid the bowl of cherries over to Luz, the witch taking another one. She put it in her mouth, taking out the seed and putting it on a napkin. A few seconds go by and lo' and behold. Another tied stem. "You're not using magic?"

"Why would I use magic on food?"

"Just checking-" Amity mumbled.

Luz put the 15th tied stem on a plate, putting another cherry in her mouth. She repeated her process, taking a bite out of the cherry itself, taking out the seed eating the cherry and tying the stem. She took the stem out, putting it on the plate. "I've never liked cherries. They're sweet, but after you eat two or three they get gross and boring." Luz muttered.

Amity took one, putting it in her mouth. She took the seed out, and after a few seconds. Bam. A tied cherry stem. "I didn't know I could do that- Actually- I've never tried..-" Amity mumbled.

Skara put one in her mouth, copying their process. This time was a no. She pouted, spitting out the stem. "It's alright Skar. I'm sure Cat could teach you." Luz chimed in.

Skara went stiff. "How did you know? Luz how did you know--"

Amity waved. "I told her about your little date with Kedi tonight. And your little hangout time right now. Hey Cat! Over here!"

The witch waved walking over to them. "Hey Skara! And co."

Amity and Luz both got up, taking one of the pets each. "As you can see. We are both leaving. So have fun on your pre-date." Luz said, taking Amity's hand and leaving the cafe.

After a few seconds of good ol' silence, Cat spoke up. "Why are there so many cherries?"

You know..Something I just realized.. Was that Boscha and Willow already had their first kiss, right? And Willow didn't know Boscha liked her, and vice versa. Luz and Amity like each other, but don't know that. So they could have their first kiss. I mean Luz already did like 3 times, but those weren't special.

Amity also had her first kiss, but didn't realize it. But back to Luz. She's kissed Amity like what, 14 times? All those different occasions where she kissed Amity's forehead, or her cheek, once or twice on her lips maybe- I'm getting off topic! Wayyyyy off topic. Let's just go to where they are right now.

For the first time in a long while, the park was nearly empty. A few parents were sitting on blankets with their kids, ethier eating, napping, or just messing around. Dairy curled up on top of Fynn, after a bit turning back in to a stuffie. 'Jingle Jingle'

Luz hummed, Amity's purrs growing. The human nuzzled in to the crook of the witches neck, relaxing her body. Amity forced herself to quiet down a bit, as Luz could be getting tired of the noise. "Hey Luz..?"

"Hm?"

Amity stayed quiet for a bit before speaking up. "Would you ever like someone like me?"

Luz didn't need another second to respond. "Of course I would. You're this kind, amazing and a very beautiful person. I never thought I could meet someone as special as you Amity." Luz mumbled.

The human got off the witch a bit. "Would you ever go out with me..?"

Luz nodded. "Are you only saying this because you want me to feel better or because we're friends..?"

Luz shook her head. "Nethier are excuses..How about me? Would you ever go out with a witch like myself?"

Amity didn't hesitate to respond to that question. "Of course I would! You're so smart, loyal, you have so many people looking up to you too! You're probably the only person I know who actually understands me Luz.." The human mumbled, her face heating up a bit.

After a few seconds of silence, both girls ended up speaking at the same time. "To bad I won't find a guy like you." They mumbled nervously in unison.

Amity laid back down, nuzzling in to Luz's chest. Why can't they just say those three simple words? Why are you asking me!? Fynn cooed in an annoying tone, rolling his eyes. He rested his head on his paws, just watching the two girls slowly doze off. Sigh. Eventually they'll have to say it, right?
