Amity got up like usual, take a shower, brush her teeth, do her hair, etc etc. But there was one thing she was doing different on this fine Wednesday morning. "Bye Lilith! I'll be back soon!" Amity called out, opening the door.

"Okay!!" Lilith called back from her room.

Amity smiled slightly, looking over at Fynn. "You coming buddy?" Amity asked her Griffin.

He cooed, grabbing a stuffie and flying over to her. "You want to bring Dairy?"

Fynn flew around her in circles, chirping loudly. Amity squeezed the jackalope stuffie, a cloud of pink surrounding her and the stuffie. Dairy looked up at her, his tail wagging furiously. Fynn perched on her shoulder, nuzzling the human.

Amity kissed his snout, stepping outside. She closed the door and walked down the street. Dairy jumped out of her arms Fynn doing the same, following her closely. Fynn walked beside Dairy, putting his wing over the jackalope. They made it to the recently opened cafe, Amity ordering first.

The waitress nodded, writing down what the human asked for. Fynn helped get Dairy on the table or at least the chair. "What do you want buddy?" Amity asked her Griffin.

He opened up the menu, looking through it. He brought out his claws, circling an option. His tail wagged swiftly as he looked up waitress. She took the menu, looking at what he scratched. She let out a mixture of a scoff and a laugh. "What about them?"

Dairy used his paw, flipping from page to page. He perked up, pawing at a picture. His little tail wagged swiftly, the waitress seeing what it was. Fynn tried to see too, but he couldn't. The waitress nodded, and went in to the kitchen. "Did you get something for me too?"

Fynn perked up, looking over at the witch who just entered. "Skara! Hey! No I didn't, I didn't realize you were coming here."

The witch shrugged, sitting down on the free chair. She pet Dairy and Fynn, petting Amity too. "I'm not an animal–"

"You purr don't you? Humans don't purr."

Amity swatted her hand away. "Well witches don't etheir. And I heard you purr in front of Cat!"

There was no school today. That's what's different on this nice Wednesday morning. Skara gasped, putting her right hand over her chest. "Really going to expose me like that?"

Amity stuck her tounge out, Skara doing the same. "Not all witches purr okay? Just a few–"

"Does Luz purr?"

Skara shrugged. "Well nothing we've done to her has ever been worthy of a purr to her. Ever."

Amity hummed a response. As she was about to say something, she was interrupted. "Well maybe because you're doing the wrong things." A witch said, picking up Dairy and taking his spot.

Skara scoffed. "Do you even purr?"

"I do. Just not often. Actually. The last time I purred was when Amity got sick. But I doubt she remembers it and how it happened." Luz said, moving Dairy's fur back.

Amity thought about it, trying to figure out how to make Luz purr again. "Do you even know how to make yourself purr?" Amity asked.

Luz nodded. "Something I did when I was younger was test on myself to see where I had weak spots."

Amity looked over at Skara, who was making a smug expression. "If you're going to do something stupid at least wait till later." Luz said, summoning her scroll.

The waitress came back, placing the small cupcakes in front of the pets, the fruit tea in front of the human, and about 5 macarons to go with the tea. "Got cupcakes of eachother huh?"

Fynn cooed, his tail wagging slowly as he looked at his original owner. Dairy's cotton ball tail wagged swiftly as he sniffed out the ingredients. Luz moved his fur back, relaxing in her chair. A low growl escaped Fynn's throat, catching the girls attention.

Luz took his cupcake, taking out the one thing he was mad about. She put the cherry in her mouth, giving him back the cupcake. He ate the pretzel antlers first, Dairy eating the small decorations on top. "You're so picky." Luz said, ruffling Fynn's feathers.

Skara took one of Amity's macarons, taking a small bite out of it. "You could get your own you know." Amity huffed, moving her plate closer to herself.

"Ta-Da." Luz mumbled, sticking her tounge out.

Both girls looked at the hybrid, a tied stem on her tounge. "How did you do that?" Skara asked, slightly amazed.

Luz shrugged, taking the stem off her tounge. Amity took out her phone, pulling up an app and searching something up. "May I have one?" Luz asked, signaling to the macarons.

Amity picked one up, shoving it in Luz's mouth. The witch fell back, coughing up the macaron. "That's one way to do it.." Luz muttered, getting off the floor.

"Sorry sorry– It's just that you reminded me of something back where I come from. It was surprisingly popular." Amity said, showing Luz her phone.

The witch examined the 'post,' slightly baffled as she read the first few words. "That's stupid." Luz scoffed.

She sat back down, taking one of Amity's macarons. As she was about to take a bite, Amity took it back, eating it instead. "It's the only pink one."

Dairy jumped on to Luz's shoulder, and up to her head before relaxing and dozing off. Skara snatched Amity's phone, examining the post. "Is it true?" The witch asked.

Amity took her phone back, putting it away. "Dunno. Some people say it's true. Plus not everyone can do it."

Skara hummed, calling over the waitress. "Can we get some cherries?"

The waitress clicked her tounge, giving her finger guns and going back to the kitchen. Oh boy..
