The knee. [31]

It's the next day, great right? Nope. Not great. Today, was a day Luz was not prepared for. They were going to- "The knee, are you kidding me?"

I was going to say that..Jerk! "Why are we here! Of all places!? It's cold! Very very cold!!" Luz shouted.

"Be grateful we came!" Boscha, Willow, and Agustus shouted.

"I didn't ask you to come! I told you guys; 'I'll be gone for a few days! Don't come with me!' But you all came!!"

"We can do whatever we want." All three said, now including Skara and Amity.

Fynn cooed, and nuzzled Camilla. "I came too, cause why not?" King said.

"Yeah yeah, just don't distract anyone with your cuteness." Eda said, kissing her wife's cheek.

Luz groaned. "This is going to be a loooong trip.."

[One hour and 4 minutes in]

Luz casted a fire spell, a big one, and threw it at the campfire. "Anyone else, want to argue?"

They all closed their mouths, except for Amity. She raised her hand. "What is it?"

"It's cold.."

Luz clenched her fist, and her hand engulfed in fire. She brought her hand close to Amity's face. "Is this hot enough for you?"

Amity smiled nervously. "A little t-to hot.."

Luz put out the fire on her hand, and circled the campfire. "Now back to the- What is it Boscha?" The witch asked, sighing.

"Is it a bad time to say it's col-"

"Yes, yes it is. Anyone else?"

"Oo oo! What are we doing?" Skara asked.

Luz walked over to her, silently, and stopped in front of her. "Learning magic." Luz said sarcastically, doing jazz hands.

Amity raised her hand slowly. "Yes.. Amity?" Luz muttered, containing her anger.

"I'm human-"

"Ask Eda, not me. Got it?"

"Yes ma'am!" Amity shouted nervously.

"Last call. Any questions?!" Luz called out.

"What are we having for dinner?" Agustus asked.

Luz looked over at him, slowly losing her sanity. "Any good questions?"

"No Ma'am!!" Everyone shouted.

"Now, on with today's plans."

"A little higher.." Luz said, her hand on Amity's and raising her arm up slightly. "And...Go."

The hybrid let go of the human, and stepped back a bit. Amity breathed in and out, then drew the circle with the wand. A fire spell, well, more like a meteor, shot out of the circle. "EEP!!"

She jumped back, nearly dropping the wand. "Not bad..Not good, but also not bad." Luz said.

"Luz! I just learned something new!" Boscha called out, now holding a snowball.

"Boscha... Don't you-"

The witch threw the snowball at the hybrid, hitting her face. She laughed, and booked it. "UGH!! BOSCHA!!!" Luz shouted, running after her.

Amity ran after both witches, holding on to the wand tightly. "Don't you dare hurt her Luz!" Amity shouted.

Luz scooped up some snow with her right hand, then shaped it into a ball with both. "No promises!!" The hybrid shouted, throwing the ball, hitting the witch on the back of her head. "Score!!"

Boscha fell face first in the snow, groggily getting up. "Not cool.." She muttered.

"You sure? I think it's pretty cold, let me try again!!" Luz said, throwing it at Boshca's face.

"YOU DIRTY LITTLE-"

She received another layer of snow on her face, this time by Amity. "Oh no- I missed-" The human mumbled.

"Nice shot!!" Luz shouted, rushing over to high five her.

But she stopped. "You wouldn't dare.."

"W-Wanna bet?" Amity stuttered nervously.

Boscha sneakily snuck up behind Luz, holding a snowball. Amity threw the ball, Luz ducked, and Boscha threw hers. The human and witch fell back in the snow, confused. Luz got back up, also confused. "Double kill! Woohoo!!" Luz shouted excitedly.

She ran over to Boscha, and helped her up. "Sorry, but that was pretty cool-"

Luz stumbled forward, and looked back. "Amity!! What the heck!? I'm apologizing here!!" Luz shouted, removing the snow from her hair.

Amity picked up more snow, forming it into a snowball, and threw it at Luz again, making the witch fall on the snow. "Pfft- Hahaha!" Boscha laughed, pointing at the fallen witch.

But her excitement was cut short, by yet another snowball. Amity laughed, and rushed over to them. "Now we're even." The human said, helping Luz up.

"Are we though?" Luz asked with a smirk.

Boscha wiped the snow off her face, and caught on to Luz's plan. "3 minutes to prepare?" Boscha asked.

"Yup. The usual." Luz said, walking to her own spot. "Only 2 rules. Can't team up with your opponents." Luz said, drawing a circle in the snow, showing her spot.

"And the other one..?" Amity mumbled.

"Don't kill anyone. Did you seriously think we wouldn't be able to use magic?" Boscha laughed, drawing her designated corner.

Amity swallowed the lump in her throat, and she did what the other two girls were doing. Just as they all finished, Camilla came up to them. "What's going- Ohh..."

"Mhm, want to join in?" Luz asked.

"Nu-Uh. No thanks mija. Don't want to get hurt like last year." Camilla laughed.

"H-How does this game work exactly..?" Amity asked nervously.

"Well. Like back on Earth, we had snowball fights. You've had one before, right?" Camilla asked.

Amity nodded. "It's just like that, except you get to use magic. And you can cheat too."

"But, I only know one spell.." Amity mumbled.

"You have that wand don't you?"

"Yeah, but I can only- Oh..Thanks!"

Camilla smiled, and circled the battlefield. "On the count of 3, you have 3 minutes to prepare. Got it?" Camilla asked.

"Yes ma'am!"

"Good. 1...2..3!"

~3 minutes later~

I'm your referee, ChrysDoesGay !And this is my co-referee, Camilla Noceda! "Begin!"

Luz had her plantbomination on her side, firing snowballs, whilst Luz made them. Amity had made an igloo, pretty impressive actually. And Boscha, well...

"DIE!! DIE DIE!! I PLAN ON WINNING!!" Boscha shouted, firing snowballs in every direction.

Everytime a snowball was fired at Luz, her plantbomination caught it and used it as ammo. Amity was actually doing something fairly smart. "Woo! Go Amity!" Camilla cheered.

The younger human used the fire, as a makeshift protection spell. What do you know?
