So, not so great day. Been 2 hours since she woke up, deciding to go see Lilith to make a time for today's training. Luz missed yesterdays due to actually passing out, she was just glad she did her homework and graded her students too. And, that stupid cyclops returned.

She knocked him out, dragging him to Lilith's house. She knocked out one of his teeth too, one of his fangs. Took horrible care of them too. Her cheek was swelling, turning a red color, a scratch on her forearm, and her arm began to ache, he was heavy. Luz knocked on the door, Lilith opening it after a few seconds. "So..I uhm.. Knocked him out, and one of his teeth.." Luz muttered.

"I have never been so proud- Is this the guy that hurt you?" Lilith asked, clearing her throat.

"Yeah, thought today was going to be a good one. Complete opposite. What do I do with a knocked out body?" Luz asked, letting go of his shirt.

"Well, if they don't get up in an hour, you can bury them. Common sense. Know his parents?"

"Yeah, checked his wallet. 2 siblings, mom only." Luz said, using her foot to push him off the steps, the cyclops slowly rolling over.

"Leave him here, he'll get up soon enough." Lilith said, stepping aside. "Come on in. Let's get your wounds treated. Hand me that tooth, I'm putting it next to Amity's bounty."

"You kept the other teeth didn't you?"

"Every single one. My favorite is the giant you knocked out, big teeth that guy had." Lilith said, walking towards her own bounty.

She opened a casing, putting the tooth with the others. About 15. Luz is pretty good at knocking people's teeth out, Lilith proud that she convinced Camilla to sign her up for boxing. "Amity's in her room, you can-"

"Not go up." Luz mumbled.

"Why not? You're both girls-"

"I'm not allowed to talk to her, not until she's comfortable talking to me again. Oath with Boscha." Luz responded, sitting down on the couch.

"Oh, well let's clean up that wound then." Lilith said, going to the kitchen.

Luz put Amity's lunch on the counter, a little note saying it was hers so Lilith wouldn't take it. She said goodbye to her Aunt, going to school. She took in the morning fresh air, her heart racing. 'The tournament is tomorrow.. I won't be able to do much, I don't think we'll even win..' Luz sighed at the thought.

"Something wrong?" A familiar voice asked.

"Very wrong, after I had that fight with that stupid cyclops..I haven't been able to do much.." Luz mumbled.

"It's okay, at least you're doing something." Skara said, patting the witches shoulder.

"I guess.."

"We still cool about the kiss?"

"Yeah, but Amity isn't..I guess she saw it, and she won't talk to me. I kind of miss her voice.." Luz muttered.

"You used to talk about me like that, you fell for the human?" Skara teased.

"I- What- No- I just- She's going away in 2 months, there's no point in getting close to someone that's going to be ripped away from me."

"Just from you? My my Noceda, you're in to deep. 'Oh woe is me, I'm the human Luz fell for.'" Skara said, dramatically leaning on Luz, and trying to sound like Amity.

"I did not fall for her! She's just-"

"Charming? Oh so pretty? Smart? Funny? Your dummy?" Skara teased.

"You're such a pain!" Luz scoffed, pushing Skara away, run off.

"The longer you keep your feelings hidden the more you'll like her!!" Skara shouted, running after her.

"That is not true! Quit chasing me you crazy witch! You're going to trip and get hurt!" Luz shouted, running up the steps and inside.

"Then quit running! You're gay thoughts will catch up to you! They always will!!"

Luz walked around school during passing period. Expecting to see someone she knew. By the time she turned the corner, she was glad she walked around. Amity's first day, was that day. She was sitting by herself on the floor, people judging her round ears. Luz 'bulked' up, walking up to those witches and assorted students. "You leave her alone! How would you feel if it was your first day and people were already judging you?" Luz hissed, not literally, just in a bitter tone.

The students took a step back, a few walking off. "She's human, doesn't that freak you out?" A female cyclops asked.

"No! It doesn't! You have a single eye, do we judge you for it? No! Because that's rude! Watch your mouth next time, get out of my sight."

They rushed off, the students who watched also leaving. Luz sighed, taking off her bag, rummaging around for a pencil and paper. She wrote on it, handing it to Amity, sitting down beside her. "You okay? I'm sorry, first days are usually rough.."

Amity took Luz's pencil, writing on the paper as well. "It's okay, can you show me where Boscha's at?"

Luz gave her a thumbs up, standing up. Helping Amity up as well. She guided her to potions, waiting for Amity to enter in safely before going her own way.
