Saturday morning, so far so good. Nothing bad has happened, yet. Luz did her regular routine, getting the homework ready for her students on Monday. Some easy warm-up assignments, nothing to difficult. Just some formulas and what not. "Luz! The mail!" Camilla shouted from the kitchen.

"Coming!" Luz shouted back, putting the papers away neatly.

She stood up, going to her door, opening it, then going out in to the hall. The witch walked towards the front door, which was already opened. "He looks like he's ready to hurl, might want to step back cuz." Edric said.

Luz grabbed an umbrella opening it and using it as a shield. Not even a second later, Hooty barfed everything up, a gross surprise covering Edric. "I didn't touch it, so I'm not cleaning it up." Luz said calmly, putting the umbrella outside.

Hooty chirped, closing the door. There was a whole pile of letters probably filled with checks, a bunch of small boxes, and a pretty big one. Luz picked up the letters first, taking them to the kitchen. She opened one, just to check if her hypothesis was correct. "Where do I put the checks again..?" Luz asked.

"I'll-"

"Keep it close, you're going to the store later right?" Her mom said, covering Eda's mouth.

"Yeah, with Amity. Lilith said she was going to be busy and she wanted her student to get the groceries.." Luz said, opening more and more letters.

The witch stored all the checks inside a bigger envelope. King brought the smaller boxes over one by one. Owlbert also helped, carrying the ones that he could. And one of those boxes, caught Luz's eye. She picked it up, reading the little tag on it. 'Might need this in the future ;) -Oracle Teacher'

Luz opened the box, containing a collar. #ForshadowingRemeberthis It was a cat collar, don't know how the teacher got it, as it was from the human realm. As it clearly stated it was made in some place called China. The witch shrugged, putting it on her wrist. Which was a perfect fit without her adjusting it. She continued opening the letters, liking the little jingle of the bell on the collar.

Our witch walked to the store, bringing an umbrella with her just in case. As it had recently rained. She crossed the street, making her way to the humongous store. On her way there, she spotted a few of her friends. The ones with partners none the less. Boscha and Willow were reading books, the peachish pink witch resting her head on her partners lap.

Matt and Agustus were messing around with Illusions of eachother right across the street. Luz smiled, her friends looked so happy with one another. She made it to the store, Amity appearing not far behind her. "My favourite witch!" The human shouted, hugging Luz from behind.

"Oh, favourite? I guess I am pretty likable." Luz said smugly, hugging the human back.

Amity giggled, looking up at the witch. 'Jingle Jingle' "What was that?" The human asked.

"Oh, I almost forgot about it.." Luz said, pulling up her sleeve a bit. "The Oracle teacher sent me this in the morning..Said I might need it in the future.."

"Is that a cat collar? That's so cute!" The human exclaimed.

"It is isn't it? Now, let's get the groceries." Luz said, letting the human go.

Amity nodded letting the witch go as well. They walked inside, Luz going to the little bank in the corner. "So what are you getting first?" Amity asked.

"I'm actually exchanging first.." Luz said, taking out an envelope.

"Luz, long time no see. How have you been kid?" The person behind the counter said.

"Fine. You?"

"Bored, business is slow till you come by. How many this time?" They asked, sticking their hand out.

"About 38?" Luz questioned, thinking she left a few out, handing the envelope over to them.

"Usual?"

"Yeah. How long do you think it'll take this time?"

"25 minutes. Gotta go get the new shipment in the back."

"Alright, come on Amity." Luz said, taking the humans hand.

"What was in that envelope?" Amity asked, following the witch.

"Checks.."

"From the teachers..?" The human mumbled.

"A few..And the rest from the students I tutor. Got some gifts too..Saturday's are pretty boring.." Luz said,

"Well I'm here now, so it'll be less boring." Amity said smugly.

The witch laughed, tightening her grip on the humans hand. Being gay has its perks, don't you think?
