Eda knocked on the secret tree on the door. Luz groaned. "CoMiNg..." She called out.

She yawned, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. She pushed Amity off her gently, got off the bed, stretching before walking over to the door, and opening it. She went out in the hall, towards the door, and opened it. "Hey mom.." Luz mumbled, yawning again.

"Hey kid. I came to check up on ya. How did you sleep?" Eda asked, taking off her jacket.

"Fine I guess...You want me to make breakfast or something..?" Luz asked, pointing towards the kitchen behind her.

"I'm not staying for long. Netheir are you. We're going back later in the afternoon. Something came up with the twins, so we're heading back to help them out." Eda said.

"Around what time for sure?" Luz asked.

"Maybe around 3? Your mom didn't specify–"

"Maybe you weren't listening." The younger witch said, walking back to her room.

"Yeah you're probably right. Morning Friday." Eda said.

The robot appeared in front of her. "Good morning, Mom #2. How did you sleep?"

"Pretty good. Did you get any new upgrades?"

"Luz is working on my sarcasm and happiness perk. Amity has also suggested to give me fingers. According to her...High Five rules."

"You still want that canon?" Eda smirked.

"Yes I do. Luz still needs more confetti and a few more wires for it to work. Oh I so wish to use it right now." Friday said, as enthusiastically as she could, sounding more sarcastic.

"It's not done yet. It will be soon. I promise." Luz said, opening her room door.

She stretched as she walked in, completely forgetting Amity was on her bed. She walked over to her closet, where she kept her extra clothes. She picked out a pair of black leggings, a purple shirt with a Griffin design on it, and her sweet sneakers. Courtesy of Lilith who brought them from the human realm as a present.

She went to the bathroom, swiftly changing and brushing her teeth before she got out. "Okay, so what do you want to get done first?–"

"Morning.." Amity mumbled, hugging her groggily.

"Oh– Uh– Morning.." Luz replied, pushing her off gently.

"It's so early, what are we doing..?"

Luz smiled slightly at the tired human. "Go change first, then I'll explain." The younger witch said, patting her shoulder before exiting the room.

As soon as she left, Luz was bombarded by questions from the older witch. "Did you two sleep I'm the same bed? Was she just waiting for you? Did you hug her last night? Oh I'm so going to–"

"Calm down Mom #2. I saved pictures. Now loading..." Friday said, a screen appearing beside her.

"Take a break Friday." Luz said.

When said, meant to turn her off temporarily. She disappeared, two beeps echoing in the room. "I'll be back later. Don't do anything stupid kid." Eda huffed, taking her coat back.

"Later alligator."

Eda left, closing the oak door. "And that's my cue to get everything ready." Luz muttered to herself, going back to her room.

She went over to her bed and did it. She fluffed up the pillows and put them back on the bed. "Hey Amity? Did you want to bring the rice or wait till we leave?" Luz asked, knocking on the bathroom door.

"You can put it away! I'm not hungry!" Amity shouted back.

"Okay!"

Luz left, going towards the kitchen and grabbing a container. She transferred the rice to it, and closed it. "Hey Friday. Give me an update on the weather right now.."

The robot came back online, appearing beside her. "The sun is out, but it's very chilly outside. So I advise you to wear at least a coat."

"How's Amity?" Luz asked, looking at the robot.

"She is currently changing, would you like to–"

"Take a break take a break!!" Luz shouted, covering her face.

The robot disappeared, beeps echoing in the room. Luz took a small peek, and looked around. She sighed, and looked back up. "Hey!–"

"BWAH!!" Luz panicked, and she faltered back, falling on the soft carpet right beneath her.

Amity giggled, and held her hand out. "You're such a dummy. You okay?" The human asked, helping Luz up.

"Yeah. My heart's still racing though." Luz muttered, breathing in, then out.

"So what's going on?" Amity questioned.

"Well, something came up with the twins. So we have to go back in the afternoon." Luz said, patting herself down.

"Awh. I was starting to like it here.." Amity whined.

"Maybe you can make one when you go back home.." Luz mumbled.

"Right..Home.." Amity muttered.

"So uhm...Do you want to help me make confetti for Friday..?" Luz asked, grabbing Amity's hand, in hopes of comforting her.

"Yeah!"
