Witch Luz X Human Amity. Lumity Fanfiction

The library. [5 part 3]

Luz grabbed a hold of something, it was like a desk, but pinned to the ground, being nearly impossible to remove. She pulled at it, trying to hold on. The string gave out, and ripped. Which sent Luz flying to a bookcase. She hit it with such force, the whole bookcase shook.

"Ow..." Luz groaned.

She got shocked, and looked up groggily at Amity. "Dang it.." Luz muttered.

She got up, and ran towards her. She jump-kicked Otabin, making him also hit a bookcase. "Huh, those private lessons were good for something." Luz said, looking over at Amity.

Who, was now a blushing mess. To busy staring at Luz in amazement, to realize the witch had been saying her name multiple times. "AMITY!!" Luz said putting her hand on her forehead.

"EEP!!" Amity said, kicking Luz away.

Luz groaned and looked up. "Honestly...If you want me to teach you, then you have to not kill me." She said, getting up.

"I'm so sorry–" Amity mumbled, moving the book so she could walk.

All she ended up doing was hitting Luz with the book. "Ow.." Luz said, rubbing her head.

"I'm so so so sorry!" Amity shouted.

Luz shook her head, and got up once again. She pulled the string off of Amity and pushed the book away. "Better?" Luz asked.

"Much, thank you." Amity said, jumping into Luz's arms to give her a hug.

Luz faltered back, hesitantly hugging Amity back. 'CRASH' Both girls looked over at Otabin. He lunged at Amity, and snatched her from Luz's grasp.

"EEEEP-" Amity shouted nervously.

Luz noticed the drawings on Otabins book, so she ran over to the big book they escaped from.  She summoned a pencil, and began to write. 'Amity needs to right a wrong.'

Then a huge eraser came out. "Amity! Catch!" Luz said throwing it over to her.

Amity caught it, and smacked him with it. Luz face palmed, and regretted all her recent decisions. While Amity was smacking Otabin, she erased part of the drawing. She hit him multiple times, until it finally disappeared.

She yelped and fell on the ground. Otabin falling on top of her. Luz walked over to him, and picked him up. "I'm...So sorry.." He said nervously.

"It's okay, we all make mistakes.." She said, hugging him tight.

She looked over at Amity, and signaled her to close the book. He slowly disappeared, and faded away. Luz held onto her arm, looking down. Amity walked over next to her, and smiled.

                          ~Later~

"Thanks for staying behind and helping me clean." Amity said looking back at Luz.

"Watch your step.." Luz said, petting the Griffin.

Amity did, and walked over to Luz. "What are you going to name him?" She asked.

"I...Don't intend on keeping him. One little monster is enough." Luz said, tickling him.

It trilled, and nuzzled Luz. "What if you take care of him at school?" Amity said, moving his feathers back.

"Just because I'm a favorite doesn't mean I can do whatever I want.."

"Maybe I can take him. You can visit him, or I can bring him over so you two can hang out."

Luz sighed, and stopped. "If he wants to I guess.."

He flew on top of Amity's shoulder, and nuzzled her. Luz smiled slightly, and gave the baby Griffin a kiss. "You can name him, I don't mind." Luz mumbled, scratching his chin.

"It'll come to me eventually."

Luz got shocked, and she faltered back slightly. Amity yelped, and also flinched. Luz groaned. "I have to teach you magic now.." She mumbled.

"You don't have to, I was just trying to guilt trip you." Amity said, rubbing the back of her neck.

"Really? While I could've died?"

"Mhm. Then again, I also almost died."

"If it wasn't for me, you definitely would've died." Luz said, nudging her.

"Well you also would've died without me!" Amity said, walking down the steps.

Luz stuttered, trying to find the right comeback. She shook her head and laughed, now walking besides Amity. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Luz said nudging Amity again. "For once."

Amity gasped, and began laughing. "I'm smart!" She shouted pushing Luz slightly.

"Yeah, smart enough to get yourself killed!" Luz said ruffling Amity's hair.

"You jerk!" Amity said laughing, and pushing Luz before running off.

Luz laughed, and ran after her.
