"Ah– It's you. The guy who tried to rob me. What did your wallet say..."

He nervously laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's uh David.."

"Right. David Peterson was it? 10th grade right?"

He nodded, looking up at her slightly. "When I woke up I saw the note you left me..Thanks for the extra cash Noceda.."

Licorice jumped on his shoulder, sniffing the cyclops. "Know you need it, just wanted to help out a bit. How's your sister?"

"She's doing okay. She'll get out of the hospital soon, helped me out alot." He said, scratching Licorice's chin.

Luz nodded, Amity coming up behind her. "Hey, are you looking for a job?"

"Mom, this is David."

Camilla looked at Luz, then at the cyclops, then back at her daughter. "No I'm not bisexual mom. I'm not a bendy pencil."

She sighed in relief, putting down the ladle. "So you're looking for a job? This is a family only restaurant, but if it's pretty important..I'll let you. Can you cook?"

"Y-Yes ma'am! I can't cook like Luz, but I can cook at least like you!"

Camilla waved him over, giving him a few orders and what to do right now. Luz left, going outside with Amity. "I got him started with a small job, don't you work?"

Amity shook her head, scratching Licorice's chin. "Lilith says me being–" She yelped, Licorice hissing too.

The electrical shock wasn't strong, but Amity wasn't prepared for it. "S-Sorry can't talk about it.."

Licorice got on Luz's shoulder, her fur standing on end. "Private?"

Amity nodded slowly, Luz patting her shoulder. "Don't worry, I won't force it on you. I know how it feels like to be forced to stay silent, but I won't want to threaten you or anything"

The human saddened a bit, Luz immediately noticing. "S-Sorry! Did I just give off some of my childhood? Really sorry! I know you don't know much about it–"

"I do.."

Luz perked up, her ears going down slightly. "Did..Did Eda tell you..?"

"Lilith did.."

The witch sighed in relief, Licorice turning back in to a stuffie. Luz gave her to Amity, the human just holding on to her. "She must've left out alot, only me and Eda know..The truth that is.."

Amity tilted her head to the side a bit in confusion. "Well, long story short. She lied about most of it. I've had a way worse past then she told you! But I rather you not imagine it because it's pretty traumatic. And yes, I'm okay."

The human took Luz's hand, squeezing it tightly. "How will I know for sure?"

The witch hummed, putting both of her hands on the humans face. "I'm a pretty bold person when I'm okay, so I won't be scared to do this." Luz said, pulling her hands back and squishing Amity's face.

The human put on hand on Luz's forearm, leaning in to her left palm. "That was extremely bold, and I'm very certain you would never do that since you know I can kick your butt."

Luz smiled nervously, letting the human go. "Yep. I would've been, and am, petrified."

Amity flicked Luz's forehead, running off. "Race you back to Lilith's!!"

"AH YOU SCAMP! GET BACK HERE!" Luz shouted after her, needing to beat the human back.

"Running up the steps is a good way to get yourself killed you know that.." Luz said, lifting Amity's chin up.

The human whimpered, clicking her tounge. "It hurts.." Amity mumbled, flinching slightly.

Her back was up against the wall since she kept jumping back. Luz had cornered her, currently treating her wounds. Dairy was under Fynn's wing, both just watching Luz be gay. Licorice was perched up on Amity's shelf as a stuffie to rest. "You shouldn't have run into people etheir then.."

Amity flinched, letting out a whine once more. "Hey hey..I'm not trying to hurt you on purpose okay? I just want to make sure they heal properly.."

The human teared up a bit, the wounds etheir stinging or hurting an awful lot. Luz hummed, connecting their foreheads together. "I'll let you hug me for as long as you'd like if you stay calm for at least 4 more minutes. Okay?"

Amity nodded slowly, making a quiet hiccing sound. "No salty tears on my watch human." Luz smiled a bit, wiping her tears. "So stay happy for just a few minutes..Please Amity?"

The human nodded slowly again, wiping her face. Luz continued to treat Amity's wounds, the human etheir whimpering or flinching. After what seemed like forever to Amity, her wounds were treated and now it's time for Luz to pay her side of the deal. The witch put all the stuff away, calling Amity over. The human slightly limping over.

"I'm going to take a shower, so when I come out I'll let you hug me for as long as you can okay?"

Amity nodded, booping the witches nose. "Dinner is ready as well, so go eat. Thankfully you took a shower before I treated your wounds huh?"

The human nodded once more, going over to the door. She waved before heading downstairs to eat. Luz sighed, taking off her shirt first before going in to her washroom. "Get the gauze off first.."

Luz dried off her hair, going over to her bed to sit down. When she did, Amity came in the room with a bowl of warm soup. "You have to eat too witchy." Amity said, handing the bowl to Luz.

The witch sighed, looking up at the human. "Do I really have to?"

"I want to attempt to hug you for as long as possible, so yes. Yes you do."

"Gosh I was right, all you do is sleep and hug."

Amity rolled her eyes, flicking Luz's forehead. "I do alot more then that. Now eat."

After she finished eating, leaving her bowl on her bedside table, she got in bed with a guest. Amity layed down on top of her, wrapping her arms around the witch. "10:32. Let's see how long you can last."
