Luz had woken up first, getting ready for school with a guest. "You coming Licorice?"

The cat stretched, getting on Luz's shoulder. "Guess that's a yes."

The witch opened the door to her room, heading downstairs. She went in to the kitchen, getting ready to make today's lunch. Also Amity's favorite. Once she finished, leaving Amity's lunch pale on the counter, she rushed to school with Licorice.

Once she made it to Hexide, she went straight to her room. She took out her keys, unlocking the door. She went in, closing it behind herself. Licorice hissed, catching Luz's attention. The witch looked up, spotting Aphrite. "Uhm..What are you doing here?"

The witch smiled brightly. "I have tutoring today! Did you already forget missy?"

Luz went over to her desk, putting Licorice down. "How'd you get in.."

Aphrite's smile dropped slightly. "The principal let me in!"

Luz pressed a button on her watch, putting her hands on her desk. "Right. Did you bring..Paper at least..?"

"Mhm! I brought this really pretty pink pencil too! It smells really good!" Aphrite exclaimed, holding up a pink wooden pencil.

Licorice got back on Luz's shoulder, glaring at the witch across from them. "Well let's start early then.." Luz mumbled, taking out a piece of chalk.

She got up, facing the black board behind herself. "Do you have a book?"

Aphrite shuffled around, Luz hearing a book being dropped on the table. "Page 300..315.."

"M'kay!"

Aphrite flipped her pages, taking out a paper as well. "Ready!"

"Here you go~" Aphrite chirped, handing Luz her paper.

Luz took it, examining the sheet. "You can go." Luz said, waving her off.

Aphrite pat Luz's shoulder, leaving the room. Our witch picked up the small object Aphrite put on her, smashing it, and throwing it away. Her watch beeped, Luz pulling up her screen. She graded the assignments, putting them under the class she technically taught.

Licorice mewed, nuzzling Luz gently. The witch got up, putting her papers away, and getting her things. She put her bag over her shoulder, leaving the room, locking it behind herself. Licorice pat Luz's cheek with her paw, the witch giving her a kiss. "What is it girl?"

She mewed, getting off of Luz's shoulder. She rushed over to someone to tug at their pant leg. "Hey Licorice~ My little kitty~" Amity cooed, picking up the cat.

She kissed her muzzle, the cat putting her paws on Amity's face. Luz came over, taking the cat back. "Morning Amity, sorry I left so early."

The human shook her head. "It's alright. You had to tutor someone this morning, you just wanted to be nice."

Luz smiled slightly, ruffling Amity's hair. "So sentimental huh?"

Amity giggled, pushing the witch away gently. "So moody Luz. I thought you were going to have a good day today." The human said, booping Luz's nose.

The witch scoffed, nudging the human. "I'm always moody. You make my day better though so that's a perk right?"

Amity blushed a bit, Luz already walking off. "Come on! We're joining the Oracle students today for two periods!" Luz called out, waving the human over. "Hurry up Amity! I want you to be my partner!"

The human rushed after her, grabbing on to her arm. "You're doing most of the work aren't you?"

Luz let out a fake suprised gasp. "How'd you know?" Luz asked sarcastically.

Amity laughed, scratching Licorice's chin. 'Jingle Jingle' Luz hummed, looking at the collar. "Do you think if I make this bigger it'll fit around my neck?"

The human shrugged, taking the collar off of Luz's wrist. She made it a lot bigger, wrapping her arms around Luz's neck to put it on. "Sorry.." Amity mumbled.

"It's no big deal. You're just helping me out." Luz said, seeing Licorice hop over to Amity's shoulder.

The cat signaled down to the humans waist, mewing quietly. By the time Luz considered it, Amity had fit the collar around Luz's neck. The witch pulled back, feeling the accessory. It jingled, the bells hitting eachother lightly. "Thanks.."

Amity nodded, giving her a small smile. "Come on! We have a class to get to!" Amity exclaimed, rushing down the hall.

Luz snickered, catching up to her. "I'm going to get there first human!" Luz shouted, passing the human and turning the corner.

Before she did, she blew raspberry and gave a funny mean face. Amity called after her, laughing the entire time.

Luz purred quietly, Amity letting out a silent giggle. The human lifted Luz's chin up, adding something over the scar on her eye. Licorice rolled over, looking at the girls. "Your purrs are so quiet Luz.." Amity whispered.

The witch hummed, her purrs barely getting louder. Amity wiped off that something she put on Luz, putting both of her hands on the witches face. "AH! IT WORKED! IT ACTUALLY WORKED!" Amity shouted, looking around for the teacher.

The healing teacher rushed over, followed by the Oracle teacher, both of them looking over. "She's right! How did you do it?"

Amity scrambled to get the paper she wrote the ingredients on, handing it to the healing teacher. Licorice got on Luz's shoulder, watching all of this ensue. "This still doesn't explain why though.." The Oracle teacher mumbled.

"Well apparently you need to give some pain to release the rest. Amity scratched her arm on the pot when mixing the ingredients together." Luz chimed in, taking the humans arm.

A non-permanant scar was on the humans arm that was just a bit red. The teachers ooed, taking a look at the potion. "We'll put this to good use, good job Amity." The healing teacher said, patting the humans head and walking out of the class with the pot.

Luz pulled Amity close, ruffling her hair. "You little genius."

Amity giggled, leaning against the witch. "You're messing up my hair! Quit it!" Amity laughed.

Licorice mewed, nuzzling Amity's head to mess up her hair too. "Atta girl Licorice!" Luz snickered.

"You traitor!!"
