[41 part 2]

Amity rested her head on Luz's shoulder, waiting for her to hurry up. "Go fasterrrr..." The human groaned.

"You can't speed up my hard work Amity." Luz huffed, connecting the wires together.

Luz sighed in relief, and got up. Amity took a step away from her, keeping her distance. "Now we put it in..Then it should work." Luz mumbled, going out in the hall.

She opened the little door containing all the wires for Friday, and plugged it in to a yellow wire. She closed it, calling Friday out. "Hey Luz! Thank you for the upgrade! Now I can get excited for my....CONFETTI!!!" Friday shouted, shooting her stored confetti everywhere.

Both girls laughed, removing the pieces of small paper from their hair. "Don't overuse that power Frey." Luz said.

"Have you finished her canon yet?" Amity asked.

"Almost. It'll be done soon though." Luz muttered.

Amity took off the hair tie, so she could get the rest of the confetti out. She liked confetti, just not in her hair. Luz went behind her, and ran her hand through Amity's hair. "Do you want me to style it..?" Luz asked.

"If you want to." Amity mumbled.

The witch made a French braid. "Hold on to it, I'm going to go look for a rubber band.." Luz said, getting up and walking towards the restroom.

A couple of seconds go by, and the witch comes back out. Only to see that the braid had been undone. "Amity.. What did you do?"

"Nothing. It just un-did itself." The human said, sounding pretty convincing.

Luz sighed and walked back over to the bed, sitting behind Amity. The human was on the floor, sitting on a pillow. And Luz was on the bed, redoing the French braid. As Luz was finishing up, Amity had thrown the rubber bands across the room. "Amity. What are you doing?" The witch huffed.

"Aren't you going to go get it?" Amity asked, avoiding the other question.

Luz let go, then went to get it. The witch sighed, sitting behind Amity once again. The witch ran her hand through Amity's hair, untangling it without hurting her. Her ears perked up, as she had heard a very faint purr. She stopped, and so did the purring.

The witch giggled, running her hand through Amity's hair. The purring got alot louder, the human leaning back slightly. Luz re-did the French braid, keeping the rubber bands close. Luz tied it off, getting up. "Alright. I finished it."

Amity groaned, already feeling blue. "Come on, you can take a nap on me." Luz said, leaving the room.

Amity shot up, running after her. As Luz sat down, Amity tackled her, beginning to purr. "Only for a little bit, then I'll have to continue working on Friday's cannon. Okay?" Luz said, looking at the human while rubbing her back.

"Yeah yeah..." Amity purred, nuzzling into her chest.

"Alright, get off. I need to go work on Friday's cannon." Luz said, shaking the human.

"NoO.." Amity responded, nuzzling in to the crook of the witches neck.

"Amity, off. Now." Luz huffed.

"No."

"Amity. Let go."

"No!"

"Amity-"

"NoO!!"

Luz turned her into a fox, picking her up before getting up herself. She put Amity down on the couch, and went to her room. "Hey Friday, what time is it?"

"1:31 Luz." Friday responded, not coming out.

Amity yipped, trying to jump off the couch. Only to be super scared and nervous to get hurt if she did. She yelped, trying to catch the witches attention. "You won't get hurt, just jump." Luz called out from her room.

The fox whined, yelping multiple times. Luz came back, helping her down the 1 foot fall. "There. Happy?"

She yipped, her tail wagging furiously. "Now let me work." Luz huffed, going back to her room.

Amity followed the witch to her room, jumping on her lap as Luz sat down on her chair. And the witch did something without thinking. She turned Amity back, so now she was sitting in front of the witch. The human just studied Luz's paper, not really noticing she was human again.

Luz rested her head on Amity's shoulder, finishing the formula for the sarcasm perk. "I don't think that'll work..You should change the 4th number, to...6..Then check.." Amity mumbled, not realizing she said it out loud.

The witch did, she erased it, then replaced it. On the side of the paper, she solved for it. "Oh..Smart.." Luz mumbled, putting her hand around Amity waist.

The human flinched, and looked at the witch. Luz wasn't looking at her, she continued solving the solution on the paper. "I'm assuming you're good at math?"

"Oh..Yeah..My classmates usually come to me instead of the teacher for help.." Amity responded.

"Do you want me to let you go?"

"No, I'm okay.."

A silence filled the room, not an akward or a bad one, just a nice calming one. "Can you help me with this one?" Luz asked, using the eraser on the pencil to point to the problem.

"Switch the 3 with the 5..Then change 7 to 9.." Amity responded.

Luz solved for it on the side of the paper. Right once again. "Shouldn't that be a green cable..?" Amity questioned.

"No, it stays grey. If I use a green one, this'll happen." Luz said, pointing to the bottom right corner.

It had a crazy emoticon on it, didn't look to sane etheir. "Oh.." Amity mumbled.

"You know about this stuff?" Luz asked, leaning her head against Amity's.

"Sort of. My dad's a mechanic.."

"That's pretty cool. Did he teach you alot?"

"Not really. He took me to his job every weekend when I'd stay with him.." Amity mumbled.

"..Are your parents..Divorced..?" Luz asked, keeping her voice low.

"Yeah.." The human mumbled, her voice cracking slightly.

"How long..?"

"8 years..." Amity mumbled, taking Luz's pencil.

Luz moved her other hand and put it around Amity's waist. "Did you blame it on yourself..?"

Amity made a quiet hiccing sound, Luz tightening her grip on the human. Not wanting anyone to near her human.
