Luz was in her tutor room for lunch, Amity watching her work. "Bam. A cannon."

Amity ooed, pressing the button on top. A loud bang ensued, Licorice yowling and jumping up. "That. Was. AMAZING!"

Luz smiled, getting up from her chair. "Would you like me to teach you about mechanics?"

Amity hummed, shaking her head. "I have my dad to teach me. He's picked up a few things from his colleagues."

As if he knew Amity was talking about him, she received a call from him. Which meant the portal was open. Amity took her phone out, answering the call out of nervousness. "H-Hey dad!"

"Hey Pumpkin! How's camp going?"

"C-Camp? Camp..Camp..Camp! I-It's great here!"

Licorice looked at Luz with a questioning look, the witch shrugging and listening in her conversation. "That's great to hear. What are you doing right now?"

"Hanging out with a girl!" Amity blurted out, only to slap her hand over her mouth.

"Ooh~ A girl?~ Is she cute?"

"D-Dad!"

He laughed over the phone, Amity becoming a blushing mess. "Can I talk to her? I'd like to meet this mysterious girl."

Amity handed Luz her phone, the witch putting it up against her ear. "Good afternoon Mr.Blight.." Luz greeted.

"Afternoon, may I ask who I'm currently speaking to?"

"You have class sir, I'm Luz. Luz Clawthorne Noceda."

He ooed, Amity knowing very well he was making a smug face over the phone. "Are you taking good care of my daughter Ms.Noceda?"

"I consider it a duty Mr.Blight, she gets herself in lots of mischief. Ah-Ah-Ah, Amity, bad." Luz said, pushing her away.

"Luz! You're embarrassing me!!"

"For a good cause, your father is expecting me to answer truthfully no?"

He laughed over the phone once more, Amity burrying her face in her palms. "Call me Alador, you are very exquisite Luz."

The witch snickered. "That was the first thing I called your daughter, boy was she was she a troublemaker."

Amity whined, trying to take her phone back. "Luzzzzz..Please.." The human groaned.

"No surprise there. Do you happen to have your parents there at camp with you?"

"They did decide to come." Luz improvised, scratching Licorice's chin. "But they're currently out having a picnic, don't know when they'll be back though."

Alador hummed, Amity taking Licorice from Luz. She went to the back of the class with the cat, her back to the witch. "Is Amity still with you?"

"No sir."

"She won't hear you or me?"

"Not a thing." Luz said, looking over at her human.

"Alright, I'm going to be real with you. If you hurt my daughter in any way, I will hunt you down and bury you myself."

Luz stayed silent for a bit, spinning in her chair slowly. "Listen, I'll be real with you as well Alador Blight. I've had a worse childhood then you can imagine, this threat of yours is not at all threatening. I wouldn't hurt Amity if my life depended on it, so there is no need to worry about your little girl."

Aldador chuckled, Luz getting up from her chair. "You're a good kid Luz. You have my permission to make a move. Have a great day."

"Likewise Alador." Luz said, handing Amity her phone back.

The human put it up against her ear, her dad silent for a bit. "She's sweet, would you date her-" He blurted out.

"DAD!!"

He laughed so loud, they could feel the classroom shake. Amity groaned, Licorice getting off the desk and as far away as possible from the phone. "She is a good kid though, call me whenever you want okay sweetie?"

"Yes dad.."

"I love you! Have a great time a camp!"

"Love you too. Bye dad."

Amity hung up on him, getting up from her chair. Luz extended her arms, the human groggily hugging her and groaning in her chest. "I'd like to meet your dad. He seems very protective of you Amity."

The human nodded, looking up at the witch. "What were you guys talking about?"

"Nothing important- Actually very important. It was about you so it was extremely important."

Amity blushed profusely, looking away. "Don't say things like that.." The human mumbled.

"I can't compliment you? Well that's going to be difficult, I have many nice things to say about you. If I had time, I'd write a book about you."

Licorice mewed from across the room, going on her hind legs. "See? Even Licorice knows how important you are. Besides, your dad would appreciate if I'd take care of you. Pumpkin."

Amity groaned, burrying her face in Luz's chest. "I called you that when you were an enfield, and your dad calls you that just because. It's cute."

The human trembled a bit, wrapping her arms around Luz's neck. "Are you going to sleep? Lunch ends in a few minutes.."

"You're so embarrassing.."

"If everyone's opinion on you is more important, I can go ahead and leave you alone for the rest of your stay." Luz said, taking Amity's hands from her neck.

The human wailed, wrapping her arms around Luz's neck once more. "No no no! Let me stay with you!"

Licorice came over, getting on the desk Amity was just at. "You deeply care about me~" Luz cooed.

Amity pouted, nuzzling in to Luz's chest. "Stop it.."

"Awh~ You're so sensitive~"

"Luz.."

"You're so cute~"

"Luz!"

"What?~"

"You're so annoying.."

"Oh so now you're throwing insults at me?"

Amity whined in her chest, Licorice getting up on Luz's shoulder and patting the humans head. "Meow meow.." She mewed in a pitiful tone.

Luz giggled, kissing the cats head. She trilled, nuzzling the witch gently. Luz pushed Amity away gently, ruffling her hair before going back to her desk. She grabbed her stuff, waving Amity over. The human went towards the witch, looking over her other free shoulder. Luz took out this bracelet like watch, taking Amity's hand. "I know you kept this from when you were sick."

Amity pulled up her sleeve, showing the bracelet. "Oh yeah..Jazz gave it back to me when you took me back to the room."

Luz nodded, taking it off of her wrist. "I made you one. Designed specifically for you." Luz said, showing off the sunny yellow bracelet.

She slid it on Amity's wrist, Licorice purring in approval. "I put it on tutorial mode, just so you can do everything on your own. Okay?"

Amity nodded, looking up at the witch. Licorice mewed, nudging Luz. The witch ruffled Amity's hair, kissing her forehead. "Come on, lunch will end in a few minutes."

The humans face slowly heated up, Luz walking around her and to the door. She opened it, letting out a small gasp. "Uh- Hey.."
