The library. [5 part 2]

"We need to put it back!" Amity said, grabbing the book.

"No! We're going to- Expose her- Secrets!" The twins said, also grabbing the book.

It slipped out of their grasps and near the entrance a bunch of the papers slid out. Tons of Book Luz's came out, all talking over each other. "I'm sorry I haven't written in awhile-" Or "I've seen the human alot recently, I'm getting worried that she's following me." Or even; "I called my teacher Mom again.."

Amity gasped, and knelt down to pick them up. She covered the tiny Luz's, putting the papers back in the book. "What, are you doing?" Luz asked, clenching her fist.

"Luz!" Amity shouted, grabbing the last page.

"You two are such jerks!" Luz shouted taking her diary from Amity. "And you." Luz said, looking at Amity. "I've been trying to figure out if you were just using me, or actually wanting to be friends...But you're hanging out with jerks like them."

"W-Wait I can explain-" Amity said, going to grab Luz's hand.

The twins started laughing, nudging each other. Luz ran off, ignoring everyone else. "Bummer, the dork killed the fun. Again." Edric said.

"We're going to go out to do some troll-tipping." Emira said to Amity.

"Wait, you're just going to leave? Just like that?" Amity asked.

"Yeah, with you!" Emira said grabbing Amity's hand.

"You guys are cool...But I have to go talk to the Dork- I mean Luz!"

"Oh well, see you around cutie!" Emira said, waving before she left.

Amity rushed in the direction Luz ran off in, trying to find her. "Luz wait!"

"Just leave me alone!" Luz said, still walking off.

The baby Griffin stuck it's head out of Luz's bag, and stuck it's tounge out. "Okay, that thing in your backpack needs to stop doing that!"

It got out of Luz's bag, and went on her shoulder. "He's not doing anything." Luz muttered.

"He's being mean!" Amity shouted.

Luz stopped and faced her. "You're being a jerk! Just leave us alone!"

'Thump, Thump, THUMP, THUMP' The sound echoed through the room, coming closer and scaring the girls. "Otabin..?" Luz mumbled.

"With claws and fangs, and breaking bones." He said coming closer. "I found a friend, to make my own!" He shouted grabbing Luz.

The baby Griffin flew off and landed on Amity's shoulder. Amity grabbed Luz's arm, holding onto her, but Otabin was to strong for Amity's weak nerd arms. "LUZ!!" Amity shouted, getting off the floor.

The baby Griffin screeched, and flew after her. Amity, on the other hand, stood there not knowing what to do.
"Come on come on...Think!" Amity said, smacking herself multiple times.
"I got it!"
                        ~A bit later~

"Why are you doing this?!" Luz said, trying to set herself free.

"You really think I'm going to tell you?" Otabin asked, looking at her.

"You're really pushing my buttons Otabin." Luz murmured.

The baby Griffin flew towards Otabin, stealing his sewing pin, then flying off. He snarled, and rushed after him. Amity snuck over to Luz and waved at her. "Oh, it's you. Just let me die–"

"You said you were going to teach me magic..!" Amity said pointing at her.

"I never promised."

Amity just stared at her, before beginning to walk off. "Alright, have fun dying."

"Wait– I'll teach you a spell, I just need to go help the Griffin."

Amity smiled and walked back over to her. "Promise?"

Luz sighed. "Untie me first."

Amity helped set Luz free, and helped her up. Luz casted a spell, and yanked Amity's hand into the spell circle. "If I don't teach you magic, I'll get hurt. So now I'm forced to teach you." Luz muttered.

"Really had to go the extra mile?" Amity said, her hand still in Luz's.

Luz noticed, and let go. "Now let's go help the Griffin." Luz murmured, walking towards the door.

"Not so fast." Otabin said grabbing Luz.

"Not again." Luz mumbled.

He grabbed Amity as well, and began to sew both girls to his giant book. "Great." Luz said, sounding enthusiastic and annoyed.

The Griffin came back, and peeked in the room. He now had a scratch on his left leg, and a book had fallen on his wing. So he wasn't much help. Amity kicked at the book, trying to set herself free. But all she ended up doing was moving the book.

So she kicked the book again, testing her theory. "Luz! Follow my lead!" Amity said, kicking the book again.

"Knowing you, this will probably be a bad idea. But let's do it." Luz said, kicking the book with her.

It tipped over, hitting Otabin on his head slightly. He snarled and looked back. But they were no where to be found. He spun around to see them fleeing, both still stuck to the book.
"What do we do now?!" Luz shouted.

"I don't know!! I didn't think that would actually work!!"

The baby Griffin rushed over to them, jumping onto Luz's head. "You're okay! Oh thank the stars..-" Luz sighed heavily.

Otabin inturrupted the cute reunion, by shooting the sewing needle through the book. Almost hitting Amity.
