[75 part 3]

After a bit of chatting, the door was rudely kicked open. Emira cried her eyes out as she approached Luz. She jumped on the witch, crying in her chest. "Emira..I'm okay..I thought we agreed you weren't going to miss me when you left.."

The female twin sniffled, hugging her cousin tightly. As if one wasn't enough, Fynn, Dairy, Edric, and Camilla tackled the hybrid. All crying and trying not to make a scene. Eda walked over to the hybrid, patting her head. "You did good kid."

Luz smiled, thanking her mom.

The hybrid sighed in relief, running her hand through Amity's hair. "I missed you.." The human mumbled.

Luz hummed. "On a scale of 1 to 10, how much would you say you slept?"

"A two.." Amity muttered, hugging the witch tightly.

Luz huffed. "You're staying here with me till you're well rested. Whether you like it, or love it."

Amity giggled, nuzzling in to the crook of the witches neck. "Definitely love it.." The human smiled, letting out a purr.

                     ~The next day~

Amity woke up at what? 12:17? She had 16 hours of sleep, not once letting out a snore. Luz was sitting up, the humans head in her lap. Luz continued to eat the soup from the nurse, not really liking it. "Would've at least added some seasoning.." Luz muttered.

She put the plate on her bedside table, running her hand through Amity's hair. The human let out a purr, startling Luz a bit. "Hey sleepyhead. How'd you sleep?"

Amity shrugged, yawning a second later. "I figured something out while you were here.." Amity mumbled.

Luz hummed. "What was it?"

Amity put her hand on Luz's cheek, rubbing it with her thumb. The witch let out a faint purr before covering her mouth in an instant. Amity giggled, pulling her hand back down and over her chest. "You spent the whole time I was out cold, trying to find my weak spots?" Luz asked, baffled.

Amity nodded, Luz letting out a fake gasp. "How many did you find out?"

The human thought about it. "5.."

Luz sighed in relief. "You left one out. Thank Titan.."

Amity hummed. "Can you tell me what it is?"

Luz shook her head. "Please?"

The witch shook her head again. "Nope."

Amity sat up, facing the witch. "Pretty please?"

Yet another no. Amity pouted, pulling her knees up to her chest. Luz sighed, extending her arms. The human jumped on top of her, sitting in her lap. "You'll find out eventually. Just be patient okay?"

Amity nodded, nuzzling in to the crook of the witches neck. She purred, hugging the witch tightly. "How's the school doing..?" Luz asked.

Amity's purrs faded a bit. "Horrible. They all miss you and won't even bother learning without you.."

Luz hummed, rubbing the humans back. "I'll be back on Monday anyways so it's fine."

Amity nuzzled the witch, her purrs growing slightly. "You have homework.."

Luz scoffed. "I finished next months homework, I know I don't."

Amity giggled, pushing the witch down. She nuzzled in to the witches chest, her purrs growing more. Luz hummed, rubbing her back. "I want my cupcake back.." Luz muttered.

The human laughed, Luz giving a small scoff. "I dropped it okay? I didn't even get to take a bite!"

Amity snickered, nuzzling in to the witches chest lazily. "We'll get you one later..Right now, I nap."

"Pfft– Whatever you say human."

Luz was discharged early, she was okay, magic was working, switching forms working too. Now both girls were heading to Willow's parents bakery. Luz was excited, the first time she was excited over food actually. She opened the door, rushing in.

Willow turned around. "Heyo, what can I get for– You..Luz.."

The witch waved, looking at the pastries. "This one!" Luz exclaimed, pointing at the red velvet cupcake she never got to eat.

Amity nudged the witch. "Luz you've been out for 3 days, say something nice you idiot!"

Luz looked at Willow, the witch still trying to process all this. "Do you ehm.. Want a hug?"

So after talking for awhile, getting caught up a bit and exchanging a few hugs, Luz left excitedly with her cupcake. She took a bite out of it, humming in approval. "Solid food how I've missed you–"

Amity giggled, catching Luz's attention. The witch smiled a bit, her face heating up a bit. "Want some?" Luz asked.

The human shook her head. "You've been waiting for your cupcake since Wednesday. You have it."

Luz shrugged, continuing to eat the cupcake. After awhile, she passed a trashcan, throwing away it's wrapper. The hybrid reached out to grab Amity's hand, actually grabbing ahold of her waist. She pulled the human close, going stiff when she realized what she did. "I-I'm so sorry!-" Luz exclaimed, letting go of her.

Amity covered her red face, so deeply embarrassed. Luz rubbed the back of her neck nervously, continuing down the street. This has already been so deathly akward. But across the street, a hooded figure chuckled quietly, snapping. Only for them to turn in to a puff a smoke and disappear.
