Lunch catastrophe[15]

"Hey mom." Luz said, walking up to Camilla.

"Oh hey-" Camilla dropped the menu she was holding. "Oh dios mio es el otro humano."

[Oh my god its the other human]

"Mom, it's okay. I know it's been awhile, but it's okay." Luz said, picking up the menu and handing it to her mother.

"H-Hey.." Amity mumbled.

Camilla dropped the menu once more, and rushed over to Amity. "You're so pretty- I missed you- Even though I saw you last night.." Camilla mumbled, before covering her mouth.

"What do you mean? She was an enfield last night.." Luz said, holding on to the menu.

"Mi esposa me dijo que no dijera nada."

[My wife told me not to say anything.]

"Mom, I know you can't keep a secret to save your life. Descubrir el pastel."

[Spill the beans]

"No, no. If it's for my wife, I'm not saying anything." Camilla said, taking the menu from Luz and giving it to the other table.

"Voy a quemar los frijoles si no me dices."

Camilla gasped, and looked over at her daughter in disbelief. "I never thought you would go that far.."

Amity looked over at Luz in confusion. "I told her I'd burn the beans, she loves beans."

Amity laughed slightly, and pet Fynn. "You slept with Amity."

Both girls looked at each other. "We know..She slept in my room with me.." Luz mumbled.

"No, Mija. She slept with you, in your bed."

Amity flinched, and looked down. Avoiding eye contact, since her face was really red. Luz, on the other hand, looked away and rubbed the back of her neck nervously. The customers ooed, and whistled.

"Nobody's getting lunch, if you don't leave my daughter alone."

The customers shut up, and looked down. "Lunch ruined." Luz mumbled.

"Yup.." Amity responded.

"Hey Luz!!" Boshca said, walking over to her. "Oh! Hey Amity! And Mrs.Noceda!"

"Hey Boshca.." Luz said, waving at her.

"Hey.." Amity mumbled.

"What's up? Something wrong? DID YOUR MOM DROP THE SANDWICHES!?" Boshca said, panicking.

"No no, she didn't. She just said a private little secret." Eda said, flying over on her staff.

"I'm sorry Mi amor...I'll treat you out tonight, promise."

Eda got off her staff, and handed it to Luz. She gave her wife a kiss. "It's okay, at least she knows now. You're grounded."

Luz face palmed. "That's not how it works.."

Owlbert cooed, and jumped off the staff. Boshca whispered to Luz. "What's going on?"

"Nothing, just slight complications.."

"Right, okay. Come sit mija, I'll get you're friends some menu's in a bit."

Luz sighed, and walked over to the spot her mother made for her and a few other people. As it was her restaurant. "There's a lot of people mom, do you need help?" Luz asked before sitting down.

"A bit, I need you to make the usual." Her mother said, placing a drink in front of a customer.

Luz put her bag down, and rushed to the kitchen. Amity slammed her head on the table, and groaned. "So, what happened?"

"Nothing.." Amity mumbled.

Owlbert cooed, and jumped on Boshca's shoulder. Fynn yawned, and nuzzled Amity. "Doesn't sound like nothing." Boshca said, petting Owlbert.

"It's private.."

"Oh well. You'll tell me eventually. Do you know what Luz and Skara talked about this morning? They were laughing for a bit, and I want to know if Luz told her a joke." Boshca said.

Amity huffed and crossed her arms. "I don't know, and I don't care.." She mumbled.

"Where is Skara? She said she would come..."

Owlbert cooed, and flew towards the door. "Did someone say Skara?" The pinkish-gray haired girl said.

"Over here! I said Skara!" Boshca shouted, waving her over.

Skara squealed and ran over to her. "Hey girls! How have you been? Where's Luz?" Skara asked, sitting down next to Amity.

Amity sighed, and slammed her head on the table once again. "Hey Scar, Amity was sitting next to Luz. Come sit with me, I got some new information about the thing you wanted to know about~"

Skara got the hint, because she knew Boshca was lying. She moved over to sit with Boshca, but still sitting next to Luz's spot. Amity sat up, and took out her phone. "Woah, what's that?" Both girls asked.

"Uhh...A phone??"

"Is it like a scroll?" Skara asked.

"Yeah, kind of. I need to charge it everyday though."

"Oh, we just put out scrolls away. And bam! They're perfect!" Skara said, waving her hands in the air.

"Luzzz!!!" King said, running in the restaurant. He looked around, and spotted Amity. "Cupcake buddy! Where's Luz?" He asked, pulling her shirt.

"She's in the kitchen King." Amity said, petting him.

"W-What's she doing?"

"She's probably cooking, why do you ask?" Boshca answered.

"She was going to help me win over the kids at the park!!"

"Why don't you make friends King?" Amity said, tickling him.

"I'm a king! I'll be King, the king..- No, King the Emperor!"

Boshca and Skara laughed, including Fynn and Owlbert. King huffed, and nuzzled Amity. "Well, I'll be your empress. Let's go kick some random kid's arses." Amity said, getting up.

"Really?" He said, his voice cracking slightly.

"Yeah, I'll eat later. Let's go."
