"The library huh?" Luz said, petting Fynn.

He trilled, and nuzzled Luz. "This place seems important to him.." Amity said, scratching his chin.

"I met him here...I gave him a head scratch, then he followed me."

"You really like Griffin's don't you?"

"Mhm..."

"Well then, let's go in!" Amity said excitedly running up the steps.

"Be careful you idiot!!" Luz said running after her.

"Then why are you doing what I'm doing?" Amity said laughing.

"To stop you! That's why!"

Amity laughed, and ran faster, watching her step as she was. "Amity! Stop!!" Luz shouted.

She casted a spell on herself, making her jump as high as she wanted. She caught up to Amity, and picked her up. "Watch your step." Amity said, mimicking her.

Luz groaned, and made her way to the top. Luz put her down, and removed the spell. "Don't do that, you can get hurt."

"Aren't you in the healing class or something?"

"Yeah, I can't heal you if you're dead." Luz muttered.

"I won't die, I'll just bleed alot...Till I die..– Oh.."

Luz started laughing at her, and walked towards the giant doors, Fynn getting inside her bag as she was. "You're such an idiot." She said, still laughing.

"Wha– Am not! I'm a genius!" Amity shouted, running to catch up with her.

"Mhm, tell me more." Luz said in a sarcastic tone, pushing the door open.

"Fine, I will. Where I come from, I have straight A's. So many, that I've been my school's top student since 6th grade!"

Luz looked over at her questioningly. Then rolled her eyes, and scoffed. "Guess you can't be top student anymore, Willow is and you know it." Luz said, waving at the librarian before she walked in a different direction.

Fynn poked his head out of Luz's bag, looking around. "Well I can beat her, so I'm fine."

"Mm..No you can't. She won't stop bullying you until you ethier join her, or when you give her the badge back." Luz mumbled.

"Bully?– She hasn't bullied me.."

"I said pester, you bufoon." Luz muttered, going to the teen romance section.

"What? No you didn't– Oh, you're going to your secret hideout? Maybe I should go–" Amity said, pointing to the animal section.

"Oh, okay. Just me and Fynn then." Luz said, walking in. "Come in whenever you want, just don't let anyone see you."

Fynn flew out of her bag, and onto her shoulder. He was facing Amity, so he picked up his paw, and brought it down. Multiple times, trying to signal her to come in. Amity looked around, then walked in with Luz. "I noticed you read the Good Witch Azura books.." Amity mumbled.

Luz looked over at her. "You can read them if you want.."

"Hey...I have a question.."

"If it's stupid, I won't answer it."

"Is your mom human like me?"

Luz went stiff. "That's a stupid question, I told you not to ask it." She muttered.

"When I was over at your place, her ears weren't pointy." Amity said touching Luz's ears. "Like yours, you know?"

Luz yelped, and swatted her hand away. "Don't do that. And yes, she's human." Luz mumbled.

"How come you're not human?"

"Because...My mom married someone from this place. She had a kid, and that kid was me. But I'm more witch, then human...By the time I turned 2...My dad had passed away. Eda found my mom wandering around in the rain, with me in her arms." Luz said, on the verge of crying.

"It's okay, keep going..." Amity said, giving her a hug from behind.

"She took us in, and took my mom out on a few dates..." Luz said laughing slightly. "They got together, and eventually got married. Eda taught me magic when I was around 3 before I had to go to school. And let me tell you, it wasn't easy." Luz said, turning around to hug Amity back.

"How so?" Amity said, tightening her grip on Luz.

"With a tiny body, as small as Fynn, you couldn't do much." Luz said, watching the bookcase door close.

Amity let her go, thinking the hug had been going on for to long. But Luz pulled her right back in it. "I can't believe I'm telling you all this stuff.."

Amity laughed, and hugged her again. "Netheir can I.."
