[50 part 2]

King tried dragging Luz, wanting her to hurry up so they could get the cupcake. "King, class isn't over yet. Be patient for a little longer." The witch whispered, thinking no one heard her.

"Have you finished your work Mrs.Noceda?" The teacher asked, rearranging the paperwork.

"Y-Yes ma'am.."

The teacher signaled to the door. "Go on ahead."

King's tail wagged as he jumped off the desk and ran towards the door. Luz bowed, taking her things and leaving with her demon pet. "Have you figured out which one you wanted? Or are you going to figure it once we get there?" Luz asked.

"There's 3 new flavors! Can I get them all?" King asked, giving her puppy eyes.

"If he lets us. You know how Willow's dad gets when you have to much sugar." Luz said.

"Just say you're bringing one for the twins. He'll believe you." King said.

Luz scoffed. "That wouldn't work." The witch said, picking him up.

They got off school property, Luz doing most of the work. They made it to the little shop, King jumping on the counter. Mr.Park came out to the front, greeting them. "Mr.Park, my buddy–"

"Two."

"Huh–"

"You get two. Only this week." Mr.Park said.

He scratched his chin, his beard really poofy. King liked that, it was almost as poofy as his tail. The demon looked at the cupcakes, trying to decide which of the three to get. One would be left out, and he didn't want that. They all deserve to be eaten by him! Mr.Park sent a questioningly look at Luz.

She shrugged, pointing to one of the new ones. Vanilla cupcake, pink frosting, and a strawberry on top. The two chocolate ones looked similar. The first one had a sweet treat in the center, white frosting, and chocolate drizzle. The other, no sweet center, purple frosting, and candy on top. Purr-sonally, I would pre-fur a plain simple vanilla cupcake.

Mr.Park put them in a box, asking if they wanted anything else. "Eda wanted to try your worm sundae. Said something about it being really popular back then.." Luz muttered.

"Oh yeah, used to bring people around all the time. Usual for Camilla?" Mr.Park asked, going to the ice cream section.

"Yeah, thanks. Anything ready for testing? King's been begging me to come over to see."

The demons tail wagged as he heard his name, knowing that people are talking about him makes him feel good. Even if it's bad, it doesn't bother him. As long as they know his name. "Willow doesn't have time to try out, if he can come by every month, he can try new things for us." Mr.Park said, putting the worm sundae in a separate box and a muffin with the cupcakes.

King nodded multiple times, his tail wagging even faster. "We'll see what Eda says first. How much–"

"Free of charge. Tutor Willow for us, and you'll get free stuff. Okay?"

"Make a schedule, and it's a deal."

He nodded, petting King before going to the back. Coming back out after a few seconds. "Help her with history, nothing else. Unless she needs it. She needs to keep her grades up so she can keep playing."

"Alright. Bye Mr.Park." Luz said, getting the boxes. "Come on King."

He jumped on her shoulder, holding a box for her. "See you around kids."

They waved, Luz and King leaving. The witch walked home, the demon not really doing anything but eyeing the cupcakes. "You're going to eat them, one a day."

"I forge my own path! I'll eat them when I want to."

"I'm going to get a bite of the vanilla cupcake, it looks pretty good."

"Mm...Fine. Just a bite, then I get the rest."

Luz laughed, Hooty opening the door. "How was youuurrr day?" He asked.

"Not bad, what did you do?" Luz asked.

King jumped off her shoulder, taking the boxes and going to the kitchen. "Got the mail, ate the mail, and guarded the house! Hoot!" The door said, barfing up the mail.

Luz bent down, picking them up. She shuffled through them, scams, scams, owl treat deals, letters from the students parents she tutored, Amity, scams– Amity? Luz shuffled back, looking for it. Hooty closed the door, while Luz opened the letter. 'Willow said you got hurt, so I wanted to say I hope you feel better! If there's random paw prints on the paper, Fynn keeps stepping on the ink pad and walking on it. Sorry! –Amity'

Luz smiled slightly, feeling like tommorow was going to be a good day.
