~Before the bell rang~

"Cut it out!" Amity shouted, pushing the enfield away.

Luz cowered, taking a step back. She fixed her posture, snarling. She ran off to healing class, leaving Amity and Eileen alone. Luz turned back, completely on her own with no antidote. She entered the classroom, sitting in her usual spot. "Alright, everyone here?" The teacher asked.

Luz raised her hand. "Amity might be late.."

The teacher nodded, giving an extra paper to Luz. She passed out papers, going back to the board. "Today we'll do something a bit different. How to kill someone is today's lesson. This is entirely based on when the person is suffering. On with the lesson-"

3rd period, Amity still wasn't there. Luz wrote down notes for the human she cared so much about. But what's the point if she isn't going to show up to learn something? 'She's probably with Eileen..' She shook that thought out of her head.

She could trust Eileen, they were teammates. She wouldn't betray Luz's trust like that. She sighed, keeping the small stack of papers together.

End of the day, Amity is no where to be seen. 'I could be with the teachers right now...But Amity begged me to go with her to the new Cafe..' Luz sighed, beginning the walk by herself.

She took the long way, just to pass the time. She picked a seat outside, expecting Amity to sneak up behind her and give the witch a hug. A minute turned in to ten. Ten turned in to twenty. Twenty turned in to an hour. Luz kept telling herself 'Just 5 more minutes..She wouldn't forget about me..'

The witch ordered a hot chocolate, drinking it as slowly as possible. If Amity did show up, she didn't want the human to think she'd been waiting for forever. It eventually began to get cold, so she finished it. She did her homework while she waited. An hour turned in to two.

Luz stood up, wiping her face. She pushed her chair in, telling an employee to hand this to a human if she even came by. She gave the witch a huge tip, then left. She heard panting right behind her, and she knew it was Amity. She quickly hid in the alley way, hearing the loud conversation.

She slid down the wall, finally cracking. "Hicc...Hicc..She did forget about me..Hicc...Hicc.."

Luz burried her head in her knees, crying alone for awhile, just till she felt ready to go home..

When she finally got home Eda was waiting for her. "Where have you been?"

"With Amity..Took longer then expected.."

The human waved at her nervously Luz scowling at her, going straight to her room. The human rushed up after her. "Luz I'm sorry for bailing on you-"

"It's in the past, leave it." The witch muttered, opening her room door.

Amity grabbed her arm, keeping her from entering. "I was having fun with Eileen-"

Luz glared at her. "By ditching me? Bailing on me after you made the decision of want me to come? Playing potions with my teammate?"

Amity grabbed her hand, squeezing it tightly. "L-Luz-"

The witch took her hand back, taking a step in to her room. "I was waiting for you..For two hours..I expected you to hug me..Call me or something..But you come over, expect to be forgiven that easily, and pretend it was okay?"

Amity pulled her hand back, pulling it close to her chest. "It wasn't okay.. I hurt you..And I'm sorry.." The human paused for a second. "I told Lilith I'd be staying the night.."

"Then go sleep with someone else." Luz snarled, slamming the door shut.

The human flinched, sighing a second later. "Come on, you can sleep in King's room.." Eda said, putting her hand on Amity's shoulder.

She nodded, following the older witch. She really messed up. And she had to find a way to fix it.
