"Hey Luz!–" Amity called out.

The hybrid didn't respond, or react. She just pretend Amity never existed. "Willow, ready for plantbomination class?" Luz asked.

"Yeah, test today. You studied?"

"Mhm. All night, that's why I said I was tired."

"Bad idea Luz. Let's get to class." Willow said, leading the way.

Amity ran after the hybrid, and was about to hold onto her arm. But Luz moved out of the way, and continued walking. "Luz! Wait!!"

Luz looked back. "You coming or what Willow?"

"Yeah. Watch were you're going next time human." Willow said, catching up to Luz.

"Class dismissed." The teacher said.

Luz grabbed her stuff, and left the room. Only to be face to face with Amity. "Hey Luz!"

The hybrid squeezed right past her, and walked to her next class. "C-Can we talk?" Amity asked.

Luz casted a spell, and continued walking. It was a light spell, and it made out a single word. 'No.'

"That counts as talking, so can we go somewhere more private?" Amity insisted.

"Luz! Wait up!" Agustus said, running after her. "My teacher asked if you could come over and help with the illusion magic."

"I'll be there, let me go put my stuff away."

"Okay, be there in 2 minutes."

Luz nodded, and walked to her locker. "He said in 2 minutes, shouldn't you be quicker?" Amity mumbled.

Luz didn't respond, she continued walking. "Why won't you talk to me..?"

"Griffin's..Enfield's...Manticores.." Luz murmured.

She walked to her locker, unlocked it, and put her stuff in. She didn't take anything out, and closed her locker. "What about them..?" Amity asked.

"Hey Luz! We're learning about hybrids in our last class!" Boshca shouted, running past her.

Luz walked to the illusions class, as it was pretty close to her locker. "Hybrids...? Those animals are all hybrids!–"

Luz casted a fire spell, and brought it close to Amity's face. "Don't say that word. I told you I don't want to talk to you anymore. So leave, me, alone!!" Luz shouted, throwing the ball of fire on the ground.

Luz casted a water spell, and dropped it on top, putting the fire out. She turned around, and began to walk off. "Do you want to have a pokemon battle..?"

Luz stopped, and looked back at her. "What's the point?"

"The point is, I can prove I can beat you. Unless..No" Amity said sarcastically "..You're afraid of loosing..!"

"Am not." Luz said, turning around.

"Mhm. I believe you." Amity said, turning around and slowly walking off. "You're probably a huge coward."

Luz trembled slightly. "I'm not.." Luz hesitantly responded.

"I know, you fought off Lilith when she was a giant beast. I'm just teasing you."

Luz turned around, and walked to the illusions class. "You shouldn't be talking about that here."

"Why not? Does it..Bother you?"

"No, it's private information." Luz mumbled.

"Well then, you don't mind me saying it to the school do you?"

"I do mind, don't even think about–"

"That's what you were doing to me! How do you think I felt!?" Amity shouted.

"..I..I don't know... Your words had a bigger effect on me! Do you know how hard it is, knowing you're not perfect!? Knowing people will hate you for being yourself!?"

Amity sighed. "It's not so bad.."

Luz turned around, and took a few steps forward. "Over here, it is."

"..I think you're pretty cool.." Amity mumbled, hiding her now pink face.

She looked up when she heard Luz make a 'hiccing' sound. "Luz..."

The human held her arms out, signaling the girl to come over and hug her. The part witch rushed over to her, and hugged her tightly. Amity hesitantly hugged her back, nuzzling into the crook of the part witches neck.

After a couple of seconds, Amity pushed Luz back gently. "You should get to class, don't want you to be late."

"Oh..Right.." Luz said, taking a step back. "Bye." Luz finished, walking off and waving at the human.

"Bye!" Amity shouted, waving at her.
