Cupcakes [3]

"Not yet King, there are raw eggs in here." Luz said, lifting the bowl out of his reach.

Amity took the bowl from Luz's hands. "If he takes a small amount, he'll be fine." Amity said getting a small spoon.

She scraped some of the batter and handed the spoon to King. "Now he's distracted. So let's fill up the tins." Amity said putting the bowl down on the counter.

"If I remember correctly." Luz said walking over to Amity. "You wrote a note of where everything was." She said, putting her hand in Amity's apron pocket.

Amity blushed profusely. "Here it is." Luz said holding up the paper.

Amity faltered back, clenching her shirt. 'Luz is doing something to me! I don't know what it is! But she's definitely doing something to me!' Amity thought.

"It's up there." Luz said pointing to the highest cabinet. "Why didn't we get it down while we were looking for everything else?"

"King, we're going to throw you up there. And you're going to get the cupcake tins." Amity said, picking him up.

"Weh?"

Luz took him, and threw him up. He screeched, and held onto the celling. "Is he a cat or a dog?" Amity asked.

"Assuming that I know what those are, which I don't. I'm guessing he's a cat." Luz said.

He opened the cabinet, and went in. "This one?" He said, holding out a cup.

"No." The girls said in unison.

"This one?" He asked, holding up a bowl.

"No."

"This one?"

"Nope."

"This one?"

"No–Yes! It's that one!" Amity shouted.

King jumped out of the cabinet and into Amity's arms. "Good job you little monster." Amity said, tickling him.

She put him down, took the tin, filled it up with batter, and put it in the oven. "Now we wait." Amity said, looking up at Luz.

"Maybe we should find a way to pass the time." Luz said.

"Can you teach me–"

"No. You're not a witch."

Amity groaned and fell back on the floor. "Don't worry Pretty Lady, I'll save you." Edric said, kneeling down beside her.

"No, I'll save you beautiful angel." Emira said pushing him out of the way.

"I'll save her!" King said, jumping on top of Edric.

Luz sighed, and stuck her hand out to Amity. By this point, everyone had their hand out. Waiting for Amity to pick one. She didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but she didn't want to ignore them all. So she took King's paw.

"Haha! Good choice human! Let's go play with my warriors!" King said pestering her.

She picked him up, and walked towards the living room. "She would've totally picked me if you guys didn't ruin my moment." Edric said.

"Nu-Uh! She would've picked me!" Emira said.

"She wouldn't have picked any of us if we were pestering her you idiots." Luz said, smacking both of them behind their heads.

Luz walked over to Amity, and stood in front of her. "Why didn't you pick me?" Luz asked, sounding angry.

"I- Uh..- I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings..- So I picked the one who would get hurt alot more." Amity said tickling King.

He stuck his tounge out at Luz. "You're not getting any cupcakes." Luz said walking back to the kitchen.

"Wait Luz!!" King said running after her. "I thought we were boo boo buddies.." King said, giving her puppy eyes.

"Only one cupcake." Luz said picking him up.

"So Pretty Lady, can I get your Penstragram?" Edric asked.

"Give it to me first Angel~" Emira said.

"She doesn't have a scroll you bimbo's." Luz said, checking on the cupcakes.

"Uh, I'm a guy." Edric said.

"You sure don't act like one." Luz said, looking for things to make frosting.

"That hurt Luz..." Edric said, putting his hand over his heart.

"No, it didn't." Luz said, getting out the ingredients. "Stop acting like a big baby."

"What's this about baby's?" Eda asked.

"Eda! Edric's being a big baby about me calling him a bimbo."

"That's rude Mija." Her other mother said, walking in.

"No it's not. He's pestering the human, Ma." Luz said, signaling to Amity.

Camilla gasped, and rushed over to her. "My my! You're so pretty!" She said, moving Amity's head around so she could see her better.

"Uh- Thank you..?" Amity said, looking at Camila's ears.

"Ma, leave her alone." Luz shouted from the kitchen.

"Whatcha up to kid?" Eda asked.

"Making frosting for the cupcakes. King! Come taste it!" Luz shouted.

King rushed over and jumped on the counter. He used his finger and scraped a bit of it. He tested it, and thought about it. "Perfect!" He said reaching for more.

"Hey! We need this to decorate the cupcakes! Which should be ready.."

Amity struggled to get though the three people pestering her. Which Luz noticed. "King's doing something so cute you guys!" Luz shouted.

They all rushed over to the cute little King, who was doing his famous war cry. Amity patted herself down, and walked over to Luz. "Need help?" Amity asked.

"Mm...Magic should do it's thing in 3..2..1." Luz said, looking over at the oven.

It opened and it grew a tounge! It placed the cupcake tins on the counter. "What!? That is so cool!!" Amity shouted, grabbing on to Luz's arm.

She shook Luz multiple times, pointing to the magic oven. "The room is now spinning, please stop." Luz mumbled.

"IT'S A MAGIC OVEN!! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE WHERE I'M FROM!!!" Amity shouted excitedly.

Luz laughed, and nudged her. "Let's decorate these cupcakes."
