The red dragon. [55 part 2]

"Thanks.." Luz said, taking the money from the person behind the counter.

"How did you get so much- They give you money?- Are you-"

"Calm down human, it's just the parents way of saying thanks..At least the 2nd version.." Luz muttered, heading towards the door.

"What do you do with it?" Amity asked, following the witch.

"Well, my mom has a house in your world. But we're not allowed to go there. Everytime Lilith brings in something new, Eda helps her search it for your currency. Then we trade it for snails-"

"Your point exactly?" Amity giggled.

"Sorry, I go to deep in the reasons. Ahem. My mom uses your currency to pay for the house every month. So she doesn't have to go back and see a stranger there. She said once I turn 15, I can go over and check it out." Luz said.

"When do you turn 15?" Amity asked.

"About 2 weeks after you leave.." Luz muttered.

"Oh..Well, let's celebrate our birthdays together!"

"No, it's going to be your day."

"We'll do it anyways dummy!" The human laughed, nudging the witch.

"Can't believe I have to sit back and watch.." Luz huffed.

"At least you won the fight!" Amity exclaimed, trying to cheer up the witch.

Luz had gotten challenged to a witches duel. The witch that challenged her was pretty buff, and wanted to prove to their friends they could beat up our witch. But of course, even though she's a hybrid, she's the 4th strongest witch on the isles. Luz won, but at the cost of her thigh being encased in spiky vines.

She was ticked off, she wanted to continue fighting the witch. But she sent her to the hospital on accident. Amity had stopped her from doing any more damage to the witch. "There there. It's okay you grumpy witch." Amity said, patting the witches head.

"No it is not." Luz huffed. "SPIKE IT!!"

Her teammate spiked the ball, scoring a point. The Hexide students who came to watch the game, cheered, all screaming 'Go Hexide!' The game went on, some boo's said to the opposite team, then some more cheers. Now this is where their version of volleyball is different.

"Your captain may now turn in to the animal they wish. Come to the center, and battle it out!" The speaker shouted.

"Think you can do it?" Amity asked.

"Definitely. Eda's trained me to fight each and every one of them." Luz said.

"Even dragons?" Amity questioned.

"No..But she told me what to do just in case." Luz said, turning herself into a hippogriff.

She spread her wings, flying down to the center. "A hippogriff? Really?" The captain scoffed. "Let me show you a real beast."

A puff of red smoke surrounded them, some viewers murmured, thinking of what they were going to be. A huge claw escaped the smoke, a red one with scales. "Pretty hot huh?" The captain said, their voice deep.

"Ooh~! Spicy! Remeber the rules are simple! First on to get knocked out, is well, out! You have three morphs to change in to. 3 rounds! On our last round, you can use all morphs and a bonus one! Every round you can't use one you already have until the last one. Or if you haven't turned back yet, keep your form! On my count of three, get ready!"

Luz moved her hoof back, her tail swaying from side to side. The captain, who we'll call Macy, snarled, smoke exiting from their nose. "3.."

"2..."

"1-"

Macy breathed fire the second the speaker said the thing his solemn purpose depended on. Luz was smart, and did some research on the animals on the boiling isles, and the captain. "Squeak squeak~"

Macy yelped, flying up to avoid the mouse. Luz was just a regular old mouse from the boiling isles. A mouse with butterfly wings. Luz flew up to the dragon who cowered, trying not to touch Luz. Our witch flew on the dragons snout, squeaking. Macy fainted, falling down to the ground. Luz transformed back, touching the dragon.

Macy snarled, opening her eye. Luz yelped, jumping back and turning in to a ThunderBird. She flew up, keeping her distance from the dragon. "It seems Macy is keeping her dragon form! Must be a very experienced student!" The speaker said.

Luz flew towards the dragon, putting her talons on the beasts face. Macy roared, trying to grab Luz but her stubby legs were to short. "Get off you idiot!"

Macy breathed fire, the witches who planned the competition didn't even think to put up a barrier. Luz transformed into her 4th animal, a purple Phoenix. She flew down to cover Amity who was in the strike zone. "Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah. You should probably get back to your fight you idiot." Amity teased, touching Luz's beak.

"Okay okay, watch out for her fire." Luz said, flying back to the dragon.

She pinned the dragon down to the ground, her feathers heating up. Macy grabbed Luz's talon, the Phoenix moving her feathers in the dragons face to distract her. But that completely backfired. Macy bit her wing, kicking Luz off. She tried to fly to avoid getting hurt, but her wings completely failed her. She fell to the ground with a huge thud.

"Macy wins round two! Even though it was a bit harsh, it's not against the rules!"

Luz transformed back, and so did Macy. Our witch walked over to the other one. "May the best witch win.." Luz muttered.

"I plan on it."

"Take your forms ladies!" The speaker shouted.

Luz breathed in, then out. She took her 5th form, walking towards her spot. "Come on Luz! You can do better then that!" A few Hexide students shouted.

Our witch ignored them, because she had a plan. A real stupid one, but it'll work. She was a Calopus. With extra sharp quills running down her spine. 'Okay Luz, you can do this. It'll only be for a minute. You can do it..'

"3! 2! 1!!"

Macy turned in to her 2nd morph, still a dragon! But even bigger. Luz snarled, the beast taunting her. "You can do it Luz!" Amity shouted.

"You got this captain!!" Her teammates shouted with the human.

Luz's tail swayed from side to side slowly, her ears perking up. The dragon breathed fire, surrounding the perimeter. Luz rushed towards her, curling up in to a ball, hitting the beasts claw. "Augh! You stupid mutt!"

Macy bit Luz, immediately pulling back after her tounge got covered in quills. Luz turned in to her 6th form. A bunny with small antlers. "What.. What is she doing..?" Amity asked.

"She's actually going to do it..?" Her teammates murmured with another.

"But that's to dangerous!"
