"Thanks Amity.." Luz mumbled, feeling the Griffin's fur.

She cooed, her trot turning in to a canter, then to a halt. Luz hopped off, Hooty opening the door. "Luz! Hoot! Where have you been?! Hoot!"

"I got kidnapped, then I almost drowned in a river. Then my dad got away and tommorow we have to go to The Ladies Court."

He gasped, extending himself. He picked up Luz, taking her to the couch. "She's a crazy witch! Hoot!"

Luz nodded. "Yep."

Amity turned back, going over to Luz. She sat down beside her, the hybrid a bit confused. "Aren't you going home?"

The human shook her head. "What about the pets..?"

Hooty chirped, crashing and thuds ensuing upstairs. He retracted and closed the door. Fynn flew down with Dairy in his paws, Licorice attempting to beat them to Luz. The cat jumped on the couch, Fynn placing Dairy down on Amity's lap before landing. "Oh." Luz blurted out.

Licorice mewed, nuzzling the witch. "You staying the night Amity..? It is getting a bit late.."

The human nodded again, just examining Luz. "What happened..?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Amity leaned back on the couch. "What happened when you were with him? Over the phone you sounded so carefree and now that you're back you seem..Different.."

Luz cowered a bit, stroking Licorice's fur. "I don't want to talk about it.."

"Luz please, talking about it will get the guilt off your chest for not saying anything.."

The hybrid felt her hair, running her hand through it shakily. "It missed.."

Amity perked up. "What did?"

Licorice mewed, jumping on Luz's shoulder. "Lots of things missed..Just barely.."

Dairy got on Luz's lap, pawing at her chest. "You spent the whole afternoon sleeping didn't you?"

He squeaked, his tail wagging. Amity reached out to touch Luz's hair, the witch jumping back. "S-Sorry.." Luz mumbled, calming down and sitting beside Amity.

The human nervously reached out again, running her hand through Luz's hair slowly. The witch let out a very faint purr, barely noticeable to Dairy, the jackalope with the biggest ears. "Can we just go to bed..?"

Amity nodded, standing up. "Come on. You need to take a shower first."

Amity dried off Luz's hair, the witch purring quietly. It was noticeable, but still pretty quiet. The human giggled, Luz smiling slightly to the cute laugh from her. "You have alot of scars you know that? Most of them are on your upper body."

Luz hummed, nodding. "The ones on my chest don't bother me as much as they did when I got them." Luz said, taking off her shirt.

Amity kept her eyes on Luz's hair, running her hand through it nervously. "Remember that cyclops?"

"Y-Yeah.."

Luz hummed. "You might think most of my scars are because of him, but they're not. More then 2/3 of my scars are by him."

Amity wrapped her arms around Luz's neck, resting her head on the witches. "Don't talk about him if you're not comfortable with it.."

Luz hummed, putting her hand over Amity's. "Can we go to bed now?"

The human nodded, letting go of Luz and falling sideways. Licorice got up on the bed, getting on the empty spot above Amity. Luz layed down after putting her shirt back on, turning off her lamp. Dairy squeaked in a panicked manor, afraid of the dark. Fynn cooed, the sound of his feathers ruffling taking a bit of the silence.

It was quiet, which was a good thing. Kind of. Luz put her hand over Amity's waist, pulling her close. The human let out a purr, nuzzling in to Luz's chest. "Much better." The witch muttered, making the human giggle.

"Night Luz."

"Mm..Good night Amity."

The human scoffed, letting out a short laugh. "Good night Luz."

Luz kissed her forehead, the human letting out a louder purr. "If you leave in the middle of the night, I will personally drag you back to bed." Luz stated, the human giggling again.

"Whatever you say witchy.."
