Odalia picked up her mess, Luz helped Amity doze off, Alador went to go buy groceries. But, he returned with toys. "Alador Blight." Odalia hissed. "You didn't just waste twenty dollars on the barbaric man."

"I did." Alador held up his caveman figurine.

Ghost mewed, Luz coming down the stairs and over to the kitten, watching Alador and Odalia argue. "..Would you guide me to the store Ghost?" Luz asked the cat.

"Sure! But I can't guarantee that snails work." The kitten mewed, hopping on Luz's shoulder, nuzzling her cheek.

"I have money to buy ingredients, it's alright." Luz slipped past Odalia and Alador, opening the door. "Hey uh, a weird question but..Do you think Amity likes me?"

Ghost rolled her eyes, Luz closing the door and going to the curb. "Barely met you, she talks in her sleep- Did you know that? I'm assuming you do, you took my spot last night– But wow does that human talk about you alot." Ghost licked her paw, wiping her snout. "How can you understand me anyways?"

"Cattanese is easy to learn, it was mandatory in preschool." Luz said, scratching Ghost's chin. "Do you know Theban?"

"Unfortunately not, I wasn't on the isles long enough to pick up the language." Ghost mewed, nodding her head to the left. "Cross that street, go straight for about ten, fifteen minutes. You'll see a big store that says Bravo."

Luz nodded slowly, "Odd name but okay."

"Thank you for shopping, come again!" The woman waved and smiled.

Luz waved goodbye, leaving the store with her groceries. "Was easier than I thought." Luz mumbled.

"Luz there you are--" Alador got out of the car.

"Evening Alador, you were wondering of my whereabouts?"

He sighed sharply, "So apparently I don't know my daughter that well anymore-- And she's crying for you back at home--"

Luz calmly walked over to the car, placing the groceries in the car, picking Ghost up. "Allow me for a spin hm?"

The cat nodded, closing her eyes, switching to wood and becoming a staff. Luz glanced up at Alador, saluted, and leaned against nothing before she disappeared. "Ah- Huh?- Wha- I- I'm just..Going to sit here for a minute.."

Luz knocked of the room door before opening it, slipping in and closing the door. "Cariño."

Amity trembled, Luz walking over, kneeling down by the bed, kissing Amity's cheek. "Luz..?"

"Heya Blight, you okay?" The witch kissed her cheek again, ruffling her hair.

Amity slowly sat up, Luz getting up a bit, the human hugging her. "Luz--"

"There's my clingy human~" The witch got up, pushing Amity down on the bed.

She kept her hand behind Amity's back, laying the human down, "Did my human have a nightmare?"

"Are you going to make fun of me if I say yes..?"

"Of course not! I still get nightmares too Amity..Do you want to talk about it?"

The human teared up again, shaking her head slowly, Luz wiping her cheek. "I don't want to think about it.."

"Ay Cariño.."

"What's that mean..?"

"Cariño? It means sweetheart or showing you love. Describes you how I want! Super convenient." Luz summoned a tissue, wiping Amity's cheek. "Want to watch one of your poorly animated human movies?"

Amity shook her head, "Cuddle.."

Luz kissed Amity's forehead, shushing the human, "Crying creates dehydr- ation. Also, I used your palisman first, I'm sorry."

"Just glad you're okay.." Amity spoke quietly.

"So cute~" Luz cooed. "You're my favorite human Amity~ You're like a little puppy~"

The human nuzzled Luz's cheek, purring quietly. "Cuddle.."

"I know I know, move your arm."

Amity shuffled a bit, Luz laying by her, pulling the human over, "So comfy.."

"Just shh.." Luz caressed Amity's cheek. "Your dad is probably super confused, I used magic, I think your mom should go pick him up."

Amity gave Luz a tight squeeze, humming quietly, "We'll deal with that later. We're cuddling now."

Luz sighed sharply, "Yes Amity.."

Luz placed the final plate down in front of Alador, stepping back. "This looks so good.." Odalia mumbled. "So cute too.."

Amity looked up at Luz, the witch sighing, "If I made it cute for you, you wouldn't have eaten it." Luz explained.

The human pouted, looking down at her meal, "Well now I don't want to eat it. It's different."

Luz leaned in, whispering in her ear, pulling back and ruffling Amity's hair. The Blight processed it, her face quickly heating up. "Amity, eat."

Alador examined his meal, then cut off the head of the rice ball bear. He continued to cut it, gathering some on his spoon, taking the bite. "Very well done, Luz."

"Thank you Alador, ingredients are different from home, but I made do with what I had." Luz tipped her head forward slightly. "Please help yourselves to everything, I can always make more."

Odalia's plate clattered as she placed it down, sighing heavily, "Done."

"Too cute to look at, don't regret it?"

Odalia gazed at her empty plate, "..Can you make another?"

Luz nodded, taking the plate, going back to the stove. "So, Amity, I noticed I haven't asked you but..What have you been doing at camp?" Alador asked.

Amity looked up at him, rice all over her face, "Huh-?"

Luz came behind her, wiping Amity's cheek with a napkin, placing it down by her arm, going over to Odalia and handing her the meal. "Hm?" Alador leaned in, raising a brow.

"Well..A lot actually.." Amity said quietly, glancing up at Luz.

The witch lightly shrugged, taking Alador's cup, going to the fridge. "We take care of animals.." Amity said quietly.

"What kind?" Odalia pried.

Amity gripped her fork, she was a terrible liar. "Uhm..Bears..--" Amity cleared her throat. "Big cats--"

Luz placed Alador's cup down, placing her hand on Amity's shoulder, hushing the human. "Relax..Untense your shoulders.." Luz lifted up her chin slightly. "Act like you know what you're talking about and it's actually happened.." Luz whispered. "Keep going.."

Amity relaxed, "I made out with Luz."
