When Amity woke up from her nap, Luz wasn't with her. "Where..?" The human asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Here.." Luz said, putting something together.

Amity looked over, the witch at her desk giving her a soft smile. "Missed me already?"

The human nodded slowly, letting out a yawn. "Hey, I took your phone. Your dad called, said he wanted you to call your mom."

Amity sat up, going over to her. "You answered it?"

Luz nodded slowly. "He called 6 times, wouldn't stop till someone answered."

"Why didn't you wake me?"

"I tried, 17 times. You punched me, and fell back asleep." Luz muttered, pointing to the red mark on her arm.

"I'm so sorry-"

"No no, it's okay. I've had worse."

Amity picked up her phone from the desk, unlocking it and calling her mom. After two rings, she answered. "Hello? Who's this?"

"You still haven't saved my number? Mom, it's your daughter."

"Oh. Amity! About time you called! Your dad told you I'm assuming?"

"Huh? No? Someone else picked up my phone and told me to call you..Is something wrong?"

Her mother was quiet for a second, stuff rummaging around her side. "I found..Ugh come on..Our divorce papers!"

"Mom, that's not a good thing to be happy about.."

Her mother yelped, a loud crash ensuing on her side. "Ouch.."

Amity stiffled a laugh, clearing her throat to pass it. "Well, your dad and I have been going out on dates.."

Luz went back to piecing the recorder together, not wanting to listen in any longer. "We're going to drop all the charges, and he's going to move in our house. Since it is bigger."

Amity hummed quietly, moving to the back of the room. She talked with her mom, Luz ignoring everything but her machine. After a few minutes, Amity came over and put her phone back on the desk. She wrapped her arms around Luz's neck, resting her head on the witches. "What's that?"

Luz stayed quiet while she put the most important piece in. A small screw that kept two pieces together. Amity just waited for a response, Luz putting everything else together. She moved swiftly piecing everything together. After a few more minutes, Luz held it up and put a disc inside. "Say something."

Amity thought about the one thing she was going to say, thinking really hard about it. "Luz Clawthorne Noceda."

The witch rolled her eyes, pressing play on top. It repeated what Amity said clearly, the human awhing in amazement. "Who's that for?"

"Someone."

"Who's that someone?"

"Special."

"More specific please."

"My special someone."

Amity saddened a bit, Luz showed it to her, so it definitely wasn't for her, right? "Are they nice?"

"Yeah."

"Do I know them?"

"Very well."

"Are they smart?"

"No, she's kinda stupid."

"Does she know that?"

Luz shook her head. "She oblivious. But I really like her."
