Joy doesn't have to be a complex thing.
It can be simple.
I was sitting on my couch last night, naturally listening to music and scrolling through Twitter. Something about me is that if a song comes on my iTunes Radio that is unfamiliar, I usually won't give it a chance. Bad right? I should start to do that. But sometimes if I am caught up with what I am doing I will listen to a whole song I don't know or don't like.
So I was on Twitter, probably retweeting one of Troye Sivan's tweets or something of that nature, and I realized that I didn't know the song that was playing. I immediately exited the app and went to the music app to skip it. But right before i started to accualy listen to the song. I never do this.
I put my phone in sleep mode and just lay there and let it play. I fell in love with this song.
These kind of moments are so amazing, when you discover something simple and brilliant and fresh, and it manages to make you smile and feel so content.
Wow, I know. I am such a drama queen. But I'm serious.
This is what I have been looking for; simple joy.___________________________
