Levi stood, half of his side leaning against the door as his hand firmly held onto it.

His hair was slightly combed back, his undercut clean and styled neatly.

He was wearing a plain, white, button up shirt that was unbuttoned at the top, paired with a grey waistcoat around his torso, hugging at his slender-yet-muscular figure.

He smelled cleanly with a cologne you couldn't name, but you enjoyed the hazy smell of as you slowly inhaled.

He looked you up and down slowly: you could feel his eyes scan every inch of your body, before finally locking onto your eyes.
The corner of his lip curled upwards as he saw you, "Y/N." He simply greeted you.

"Levi." You greeted him back, your fingers pressed together behind your back to try to cure your racing heart.

He leaned further against the door, his pinkie placed carelessly in between his lips as his eyes stayed glued to you.

"Hm." He nodded slowly, "I was worried that Hange told me the wrong size and the dress wouldn't fit.." He told you, unable to remove his small smile that seemed to slowly be growing, "I'm glad my worries were wrong.. you look beautiful."

You looked to the ground, tapping your foot lightly against the wooden floor outside of his office, "Thankyou.. for the dress, it's really pretty." You beamed, "Was this the surprise? If so, its lov-"

Levi shook his head, his eyes half closed, "I suppose it's part of it."

You leaned forward, your eyes widened, "Only part?"

He nodded calmly, a proud yet smug expression on his face. He finally stood away from the door, gesturing for you to go inside.

His desk had been pushed to the wall, and so had the coffee table and chairs, leaving a large space in the middle of the room.

There were candles everywhere, making the room a warm and hazy shade and lightened the room from the dark night outside.
There was a red-patterned blanket in the middle of the floor, with a basket on top and a small radio on the side, gently playing quiet music.

"Levi.." You placed your hand over your lips, feeling him close the door behind you.

Levi scratched the back of his head, standing an inch behind you, "I had no idea what you would want to drink, so I just brought a bunch of random stuff and hoped for the best.." He shrugged at you as you still stood in awe, "I figured we could save the rest for another time, or maybe give it to Hange or something.." He began to ramble on as your eyes stayed scanning around the room, noticing all of the other things he'd done, "This was why I didn't want you to come up with me to the Market, by the way.. it was kind of last minute. It wasn't because I wouldn't have enjoyed your company or anything.."

You turned your body to face him, his arms held tightly over his chest as he grew slightly more embarrassed by the second.

"Well?" His eyebrows twitched, "Aren't you gonna say something?"

Your lips curled back into a warm, genuine smile, taking a step closer to Levi as he swallowed.
"Why?" You simply asked him.

"What do you mean why?"

You took another step closer to your Captain, your gaze meeting his as you felt your heart skip a beat, "I mean why?" You softly asked again, "Is it some sort of occasion?"

Levi stayed quiet for a few moments, awkwardly rubbing on the side of his arm with a shameful look in his silver eyes.

He let out a tired sigh, "Well.. last night, when we talked." He began to speak, his voice calm and genuine, "You were right.." He shamefully looked away, "I don't apologise to you as much as I should.."
