His curled fist hit harshly against your jaw as you let out a large gasp. You laced your hands around his, trying to stop him from hitting you again. The more time you wasted trying to fight back, the more time you wasted trying to find Levi and Zeke.
You slammed your fist as hard as you could against your Eren's nose, overcome with your own emotions that seemed to make you stronger.
You kicked his chest as he fell back against the floor, your body constantly hitting and kicking him without any other care than getting him away from you.
Crimson blood fell from his nose before being picked up into the air like steam, shoving your shoulder back, "I should've listened to my own intuition about you, Y/N.." Eren frowned at you, his hair now messy, "I knew what type of scum you were from day one, yet I still have you a chance: now who's the fucking idiot?"
You knew what he was doing. He was trying to aggravate you - trying to make you angrier with him, but why?
You leaned over him, hitting him hard in the face as steam filled your vision, "You're no brother to me, and you never have been.." You whispered slightly, "You're insane!"
He scoffed, "It runs in the family."
You thought of all those times you'd had together in the past ten months you'd been in Paradis: you thought you were getting somewhere with him - that your friendship was progressing..
How could it have come to this? How could you be hurting your younger brother like this?
You felt a tear leave your eye as you pushed his chest against the floor with all your weight before pulling your body up, sprinting towards the nearest exit with your body hot from steam.
You needed to find Hange.
"Hange!" You yelled, your throat aching, "Hange, where are you?"
"Hey, I'm right he-!" A calm voice called back before you rampaged towards the commander, watching their eyes widen at the sight of you, "Woah, what's this all about?"
You angrily stood infront of them as they noticed your steaming wounds, "Tell me where Zeke and Levi are." You sternly commanded.
They placed their hand to your cheek, "Y/N, you're injur-"
You grabbed them by the cuff of their collar without realising, your body swarmed with emotions.
They didn't tell you what was going to happen: did they expect you to just find out on your own that your own older brother was dead? And worse: the man you'd fallen in love with had killed him?
You tightened your grip as they slowly exhaled, "Goddamn it, Hange! Fucking tell me where they are!"
They placed their hand against yours, trying to calm you down, "Y/N.. you already know I can't tell you that! Don't make this any harder for us than it needs to be!"
When you looked into their eyes, it was as if you could read their mind - the glisten in their pupil telling you everything as pieces of a puzzle began to seamlessly and perfectly fit together.
"The.. forrest." You sighed as Hange's eyes completely widened, "That's where they are.. they must be because-.."
"Y/N, stop."
Their answer told you all that you needed to know as you let go, sprinting once more in the opposite direction, hearing their frantic yells for you.
They followed you for a short few moments, before being pulled back by other Scouts distressed over something in the corridor.
Your eyes; dry yet tearful.
You pushed your way through doors, noticing how each of the halls was so empty as you passed by them.
You wondered if Eren was already talking to Mikasa and Armin - you wondered what he was saying or doing.
Your body pushed the doorway to the stables open, releasing the closest horse and hoisting yourself up onto its saddle.
Your hands burned around the leather you held onto.
You rushed towards the forest, your hips aching from the swift speed of the horse as you galloped through the town, quickly realising how desolate it was.
"C'mon.. faster." You muttered solemnly, speeding through each gate and bridge as time seemed to speed past you, "I don't have enough time!"
You could see the tips of the trees in the far forrest, forcing you to endure the pain as you carried on making your way closer.
Or, at least that was until an orange mist filled your eyes, swarming from the far distance.
the echo of nearby explosions erupted from the forest.
the sounds of trees falling down filled your ears.
You leaped off of your horse, falling to the ground before beginning to sprint into the thick trees of the forrest, "L-Levi!"
