Your muscles all deeply ached as you swung your body over a mindless titan, your skin cloaked with a perfect camouflage that melted into your surroundings.

You swallowed before outstretching your arms to plough through a group of titans that sprinted towards the fight happening about a quarter of a mile down the field.

You followed Levi's orders.

You didn't want to. You believed that you should've been closer to the fight: your titan could've been useful, and in any other situation you would've been on the front-lines with your Comrades, but-!

You were Y/N Yaeger.

Daughter of Grisha and Dina Yaeger, two betrayers of Marley.

Younger sister of Zeke Yaeger, the Beast Titan and the reason your mother and father were dead.

Older sister of Eren Yaeger, the Attack Titan and the reason behind everything that was happening right now.

Fiancé of Levi Ackerman, a man who had made an oath to kill the Beast Titan, your older brother and one of your only living relatives.

You are the Invisible Titan.

It was as if you had a neon-red target on your head wherever you were in battle.

Steam trickled up your body as a titans fingers clawed against your torso, managing to slip past you. Your E/C eyes widened, before you launched your figure forward, instantly racing after the creature that sprinted ahead.

"Shit-.." You hissed through your teeth before watching as another soldier swung in front of you on their gear, their blades readying to slash the titans nape.

Splatters of crimson blood stained your body, outlining the invisibility of your figure.

You shivered before hearing the roaring of screaming titans: your fingertips confining your ears to stop the sound from penetrating through your eardrums.

You could feel the sensation rumble through your body like a drug.

You clenched your jaw, feeling as a Scout landed on your left shoulder: their hands harshly gripped at your ear and hair for balance before yelling, "Oi, Yaeger, there's a large group coming from the North-West! We need you there for back-up!"

You showed your fingers and the top of your arm, pressing them against your eyebrow to signal that you would follow their Command.

You sprinted forwards, still trying to distract your eyes from the fight.

Your friends were there, so were your family.

You felt yourself lose all envy of your Comrades who thought against them as your heart raced, unaware of what was happening as you now sprinted closer to the battle.

You could see your brother, barely creeping from the nape of the Beast Titan.

His glasses were reflecting off of the dreary sky and his body was appearing so much weaker than before: underfed and skinnier. His eyes were past the point of fatigue, barely able to keep open. His blonde hair was greasy and sticking up from different ends.

You felt your eyes weaken, forcing your body to keep running yet your pupils refused to look away.

Zeke looked like he was on the verge of collapsing, barely able to stand, never mind think.

You gazed as his eyes slowly drifted from area to area, darting across different area as you watched them narrow onto the floor a few meters from where you were running.

You realised what he was doing as his familiar yet distant eyes slowly scanned from foot-step to foot-step.. watching the tracks you'd left in the dirt behind each step.. until suddenly..

he watched as you no longer left any more footsteps.

You'd stopped running.

You felt your chest weaken at the sight of your older brother.

You remembered when you were both still young.

Zeke was being scolded by your father for allowing you (barely aged four) to play near the wired fences where the Marleyan soldiers would guard - where Eldians were forbade by law from entering.

Where your aunt had been killed as a child.

The fences were sharp with wind-swept blades that scratched your skin as you walked past, but the views on the other side were undeniably beautiful.

Zeke had promised you that day that one day you would both make it to the other side of the fence: that he would take you to watch the aircrafts enter the sky, and play in the fields until the sun went down.

You'd fell over near the fences.

Your leg had entwined with one of the wires, causing you to collapse to the floor with scratches covering your knees. You'd held back tears, wanting to seem brave to Zeke.

After, he had been yelled at badly by your father for letting you play near such a dangerous area in your hometown.

You never understood why until you were older, barely even remembering that day at all. Zeke remembered it.

He remembered it well.

You felt your chest weaken completely at the sight of him, different emotions conjuring deep in your body.

Hatred over what he'd done to the man you loved; compassion over how you both were raised.. you'd been through hell and back together, it wasn't easy to say 'he's evil' and declare you're everlasting despise towards him.

Your body flinched as you slowly leaned forward against the ground, leaning your head to the dirt.

You left your titans nape.

Zeke's eyes widened at the sight of you, his glasses slowly leaning up to the crook of his nose.

You stepped forward onto the ground.

So did he.
