'What is wrong with you two?'
I look over in annoyance as somebody angrily walks past Paddy Dow and Cam Polson, who are bitterly sitting apart at two different tables, occasionally glaring at each other.
This is getting ridiculous.
'Cam, can I have a word?' I ask.
'No' he says, looking up at me.
'Too bad, you are anyway' I say, picking him up by the shoulder and walking him over to the corridor.
'Ow' he whines, gripping his shoulder and trying to pry my fingers out.
'You two sitting away from each other like that isn't going to make anyone forget what they saw in the Daily Mail' I say. Cam rolls his eyes.
'Why does everyone even care about that stupid news site? It's so ridiculous' Cam says. I sigh.
'He's a rising star, Cameron! When things like that are seen in public, there's gonna be photos and talk' I say.
'I was just living my life Adeline. He's been clueless all this time so I just thought, why not show him what I mean?' Cam asks. I sigh.
'I know you think you're being cryptic but I know what you're talking about' I say. He shrugs.
'So I kissed Dow in the CBD that night. Who cares? Why are people so obsessed with it?' He asks tiredly. Suppose he's been grilled enough by the whole state.
'Um, hello? He's in a relationship with Ashleigh?' I ask. Cam rolls his eyes and folds his arms.
'Not for long...' he says, trailing off as he walks away and stalks up the hallway.
I uncontrollably shiver as I think of the things poor Paddy is potentially gonna have to go through with Ashleigh alone and now with a jealous 'friend' on top of it all.
'Morning Stephen' I say, walking into the office as I sit down. He holds up a finger to silence me, meaning he's on a cold and more than likely on hold again. I login to my laptop as I quickly view my tasks as my phone vibrates.
