The herd is going to reach the school soon. A group was sent to check on its progress and came back with the warning. You've probably got until the morning.

Preparations for the herd have gone smoothly, with some last-minute checkups taking place at the moment. Violet is keeping watch, making sure nothing urgent happens until the herd truly hits.

Clem: Y/N?

You: Yes?

You've stayed to yourself since you moved into the admin building in the evening. They're all in that library you met Clementine in earlier while you sit on the steps leading to the second floor.

Clem: We're going to play a game to pass the time. Do you want to join?

You: Another game? Should you be doing that now?

Clem: What else are we going to do?

You: Rest in case the walkers get in.

Clem: Pretty sure just playing games is resting.

You: It's not.

Clem: You told me yesterday that you would meet the others today. This is a great way to do that.

You: That was before I found out there's herd.

Clem: Come on, it'll be fun.

You: Will it?

Clem: Yes.

You: If it isn't?

Clem: Then... I don't know, we wasted your time.

You stand up and walk down the steps.

You: You are going to see how bad I am at games.

Clem: You can't be that bad?

You start waking to the room.

You: I haven't played a game in years.

Clem: It's not one you have to be good at.

You: That's how games work.

Clem: No, it's not.

You: I thought that's how they worked.

Clem: Some of them do work like that. But others are more about luck.

You: That doesn't sound fun at all.

Clem: Your odds of winning are very low.

You: Now it really doesn't sound fun.

When you round the corner to the room, you see the players grouped up on the floor. The only one you know in the group is Ruby. The rest you don't know. Omar, Willy, and Aj were ensuring the admin building was secure last you remember. They must still be busy doing that.

Unknown: The party has arrived.

You recognize this boy from earlier, though you can't recall his name.

Clem: Is it all ready?

Unknown: Yep. No over-the-top questions.

Clem: Good. We don't want a repeat of last time.

You: Questions?

Clem: Yeah, it... It'll be fine.

You trust her. You're not sure why you do.

You help her sit down so she doesn't hurt herself, and sit down next to her.
