You realized too late

Y/N's POV

It has been a month since I went to New York, I really liked being there, I stayed three days, and I think Lizzie and I are now good. I mean we don't have anything against each other, I apologized with her for being a bitch with her, and I really hope we can be friends. I just want to be her friend, ugh no that's not true I do want her back with me but I'm so fucking scared to feel again the pain, I know that she makes me insanely happy but that also means she has the power of break me. I haven't seen her since New York but sometimes we text each other

Tomorrow it is going to be her birthday and she invited me, I decided that I am going to go, we are friends and how could I not go to my friend's party, she assured me it was going to be something small but that there is going to be alcohol but if I want to bring Luca I can do it, because she wants to see him. As much as I would like to bring him with me, I decided not to, he doesn't know about the party so he is not upset about it 

I was going to sleep but I can't because I can't stop thinking about tomorrow. I grabbed my phone and call her I need to talk

Me: Oh thank god you answer

S: Dude what's wrong with you I was drifting asleep

Me: Sorry but I need to talk and I can't sleep

S: What's wrong?

Me: I can't stop thinking about tomorrow

S: You will be fine, I will be there so will Tom

Me: Can we arrive together?

S: I'm going with Colin

Me: Please Scar I won't be a third wheel I promise you won't even notice I'm there

S: Ugh fine, now get some sleep and don't bother me

It calmed me a little, and well I'm sure Tom will stay with me at the party so I will be ok, it won't be awkward it's her birthday and everything will be fine. I need to sleep. As I was drifting asleep I remembered that I didn't buy her anything "Fuck" I said as I opened my eyes. How could I forgot about buying her a present, I will have to buy her something tomorrow, but what should I get her. I hate have to give gifts, I am not good at that at all

I woke up and went to the gym. After 2 hours on the gym I drove to Scarlett's house I need to ask her what is she going to give to Lizzie. I knocked on the door, knowing that probably she is not alone and it's with Colin because Rose is staying with her dad "What are you doing here?" Scarlett asked and I smile at her as I let myself in "I have a question" I told her making her groan "Y/N you will be ok" she said "I want to know what are you going to give Lizzie" I asked her "I don't know yet, I mean I didn't know we have to give her a present" she said "Dude is a birthday party of course you have to give her something" I told her "Oh well then what will you give her?" She asked "I don't know yet I want you to give me ideas but you are lost as well" I told her "I will buy her something later, I mean the party starts at 4:00 we have enough time" she said "At 4:00?" I asked her surprised "Yeah at 4:00 so you must be here before 4 I don't want to be late for you" she warned me "I thought it was more late like at 6 or 7" I told her and she shook her head "No so you must go and prepare yourself bye" she kicked me out

I need a shower I'm all sweaty, but I'm also hungry and I want to have breakfast with my mom, I guess I will shower at my mom's place I mean I still have some clothes there. I entered the house and my mom is making breakfast "Hi mom" I greeted her "Oh hi, I wasn't expecting you here" she said as I walk toward her "I wanted to have breakfast with you and Luca, but first I need a shower" I told her and she nods
