Lizzie's POV

"Family of Y/N Andrea Mancini". After overthinking all the bad things that could have happened I stood up and walked toward them "Is she ok?" I asked them "We lost" one of them started saying but was cut off instantly by the other doctor "Do not start with that" he told him "Is my daughter ok?" Sofia asked them "It was a very complicated surgery she had a lot of internal bleeding and also she had a lot of infected injuries, we lost her 3 times but we were able to bring her back but that caused her a little damage in her brain, she had a few broken ribs, and on her stomach she had a lot of very deep cuts, it looked like someone stabbed her multiple times, also they put some weird chemicals on her cuts, that might be another reason why her cuts were infected, I think that's everything you need to know" the doctors explained us

So she is alive, thank god "Can I see her?" I asked instantly "I will come for you when you can, they are stitching her right now but as soon as we assign her into a room we will come for you, another thing is that she won't be awake" he said and before he could say something I interrupted "When will she wake up?" I asked him "That's the thing ma'am we do not know when she will wake up, it is now up to her" he said and they walked away

Sofia came closer to me and engulfed me into a hug "She will be ok Lizzie, do not worry she will wake up" she said and I nod. I have another question but the doctors are not here, they said that her brain is a little bit damaged, does that mean that she could lose her memory, I have been thinking a lot about this, sometimes when someone is so fucking injured and they have surgery, it is probably that they lose their memory, and it's more probably to that happen when the doctor loses the patient a lot of times

But I mean the doctors would have told us right? They would have told us that she won't remember us, that she won't remember me "What's on your mind my dear?" Sofia asked me "Do you think that Y/N could not remember me?" I asked her and she sighed "Well everything is probably" she said, and I sighed worriedly "But the doctors would have told us that, so do not worry" she said and I nod

But what if the doctors do not know that, I mean they don't know when Y/N will wake up, so they might not know as well how Y/N will wake up, I mean if she will have more complications with her injuries or if she will have a worst infection and if she will have memory loss, they do not know a bunch of things, why does this keep happening to us? We just want to be happy together and have a family and our little dog

We are waiting for the doctors to come back to tell us that we can go and see Y/N, I know that she won't be awake but even though I want to see her, I want to hold her hand and tell her a lot of beautiful things to make her wake up and when she wakes up she doesn't forget who I am, I'm really scared about that fact. They are taking so long, what if something bad happened

I started getting so anxious not knowing about Y/N and why are they taking so long, so I decided to stand up and started looking for the doctors who attended Y/N. Thank god it didn't take me long to find one of them, and it's the one who didn't look so idiot, "Hi, I'm here to ask about the patient Y/N Andrea Mancini, you came earlier to told us all about the surgery she had, you said you were stitching her but it has been two hours since then so I need to know what is happening" I told him and he nods "Let me search the name's patient to see what happened" he said making me confused

How the fuck he doesn't know about Y/N, didn't he was in her surgery, didn't he stitched her up "Sorry but if you don't know, then who stitched her?" I asked him worried, I mean if he wasn't there and someone stupid did something "Oh I had to go because I had another surgery, but do not worry, the ones who stitched her know how to do it, and there was a supervisor just in case something happen" he said and I nod

I let him continue searching on her IPad, "She is being assigned into a room, the room is 1678, if you want I can lead you where she is, I think my colleagues won't take long to go and tell the rest of the family" he said and I nod "Yes please" I told him and he nods. We started walking toward the room where Y/N is, I am so nervous, I know she won't be awake but still. Before we could arrive to the room my call started ringing, it's Aubrey "Can I have a minute?" I asked him and he nods
